I don't know if this forum is for non-fiction stories only. If it is let me apologize now. If not, some great fiction is written by W.E.B. Griffin. His THE CORP series is almost all WW2, starting just before Pearl Harbour. He also writes THE BROTHERHOOD OF WAR, which starts at the end of the war. Very entertaining, and he has alot of actual accurate military history. Check him out.

I like Stephen E. Ambrose's 'D-Day'. He's a great historian. I reccomend at least reading 1 of his books. They are filled with interviews, as well as very good points...MAN this thread is old. I'm sorry. I have the attention span of garden tools.

So why did you post if you didn't realise at first how old it was? It isn't like you added that last part with the modify button. Sorry but it gets a little annoying whe people keep revising OLD threads. I really aint a mean old fart but seriously... Don't revise old posts unless you have brought up a totally new revolutionary thought! They have already been talked about as much as the people on here want to talk about.
