Recently i picked up a copy of DC Showcase of "The Unknown Soldier", and it is excellent. And it got me thinking, who all here reads WW2 themed comics, and what are your favorites?

I have the complete set of Sgt Rock that came out last year or so forget what it was called "The Prophecy" I think. And I picked up one issue of somethign called "The Lost Squad" It is WW2 with special powers kind of interesting style in the art department and the story seemed to move along but since it was the last book in the series I was kinda lost.

I have a large collection of war comics, mostly Rock (my personal favorite), and GI Combat, and The 'Nam. Great reading for a rainy day.

I've been reading a lot of The Unknown Soldier and Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos, great stuff.

I used to read Sgt. Rock as a kid. The artwork was always awesome. I still buy an issue when ever I find one at a flea market or garage sale.
