Just to clarify, I had a similar experience with AEF supply, recently receiving a surprise package from them just last week. I'd the order late last spring.....9 months ago.

Just got an email from Alan about my USMC forest greens. Ordered July 29th I asked what was taking 6 months to do. He replied that 6 months was not out of order for custom uniforms and that he very clearly states a MINIMUM of 12 weeks. Looking at other posts it looks like the only thing that lights a fire under alan's butt is to threaten to cancel an order. He has 2 strikes now. Unless his reply tomorrow is uniform will be at your door by.....I am going to cancel and take legal action. Apparently with anything he does you need to add a 10% lawyers fee to the whole price to collect your gear.
