I've started this thread for all of the people that have searched and searched and have had no luck finding what they want. The idea is that someone who needs help makes a post and a friendly...another person comes and tells him(or her) where to look for said thing. I'll go first: I'm searching for an M14. Spring preferably, simulated wood stock, long barrel(no socom) and that is cheaper than $60.00 bucks. I've had my eye on one but it's a socom. P.S. I want it because I want to work my way up to an M1 Garand... so, Which do you think would be better for impersonating an M1, Short, or Long barrel?? Any and all help would be appreciated... Thanks!

With a little bit more money you could have a AEG M14. Just save your $60 and add to it.

airsoftatlanta.com/rifle.htm Look for the M14 Spring Rifle. Unfortunatly, it's out of stock. And guys, it's his choice if he wants an AEG or a springer ok?

Neville, they are really just trying to help him out. He can get that 60.00 springer, have it break in about a month or two, then only have enough to get another cheap springer, which will cost him around 60.00 for another M14, when he could have just purchased an AEG in the first place, and be done with it.

I know you guys are trying to help him, but it's his decision in the end. Perhaps he's using the gun for parts or something. And even if he isn't, with all the info about the AEG ones here he should be ok.

I want a springer because they're usually more acurate and I don't mind cocking it after every shot. Besides, when they hit people, they usually sting more. Also, what do you think I put my guns through? Commando training? I take care of all my guns. Anyway, I wanted it cheap (I don't mean something like a $20.00 gun made in a chinease sweat shop and of very poor cuality) I mean something reliable, that won't be too expensive. Seriously which do you think is better? A spring or an electric... And what would resemble a M1 Garand more... a long barrel one or a short barrel one? Money is short here, and I can't get a job because you have to be stupid to get a job here, literally. The office where they assign jobs to minors wont give a job to anyone who has a GPA of over 1.00. And that sucks, I bust my a$$ off studying and they wont give me a freaking job because I'm too smart!!!
