Ordered a Thompson from them 125.00 including shipping and it arrived here superfast 3 days from HK to the east coast. Awesome! Gun worked and they tapped the barrel tip in blaze orange easy to remove but lucky customs didn't take a look. Now the bad they forgot the magazine that comes with the gun. No big deal you say. Well I guess but I emailed them about it they said they would send it now over 2 weeks latter and no mag still. I emailed them back no response. See this is the reason it is sometimes worth spending an extra 25.00 to buy from a US retailer. I consider it extremely bad customer service from these guys I know other members rave about them but from this experience I would not buy from them ever again.

I've only used Boom Arms once, but it was an almost flawless transaction. I just recommended that a buddy of mine use them for his MP40. We'll see how it goes for him and get him to post as well.
So far I would use them again. It was cheap and very very fast.

How a company treats you when things don't go perfectly is infinitely more telling then when things go perfectly. Hopefully you'll get your magazine. If not let me know as I have a whole lot of low cap Marui compatible Thompson magazines. Marui originals and the CYMA ones as well. Dan, If you want some let me know.

They said they sent it airmail as of Mar. 5. They said there was some confusion as I asked about a quote on more mags orginally. To add to this I find it kind of interesting. My Bro in law lives maybe 3 miles from me. For the same gun they charged him 140.00 Total shipped. Maybe shipping went up I dunno at least it came with the mag. Also he checked on the price of 20 mags and got no response I asked and got a response within hours. Weird. It may be awhile before I get that mag through airmail that can take awhile so who knows. I'll report back if I get it.

$125.00 really sounds like a super deal for deliverd on the ground pricing for a Thompson AEG. Obviously nothing is a "Good deal" if the product isn't up to expectations. I hope they get you the magazine. Keep us all posted.

Well I guess but I emailed them about it they said they would send it now over 2 weeks latter and no mag still. I emailed them back no response. See this is the reason it is sometimes worth spending an extra 25.00 to buy from a US retailer. Not all US retailers are good with the customer service either. I've sent inventory inquiries to multiple online vendors (Airsplat and Pyramid Air to name a few). I'm looking for an AGM MP40 and 6 mags. I waited two weeks for these retailers to respond to a simple inquiry (i.e 'Do you have X and Y in stock), one still hasn't responded and the other responded with a form email saying they would refer the question to another department. The reason I emailed them is that they don't have online inventory information and I'm not giving somebody my CC# without knowing what I want is in stock. So I ordered from BoomArms. It hasn't been as fast as Udo's experience. I placed the order on March 6th, and got the confirmation with the total cost on March 9th and paid that same day. At this point the package still hasn't shown up and I still have not gotten an email confirming their receipt of my payment or a tracking #. I sent them an email this morning asking the status of the order. This is all in process, so far I'm mixed on this experience. Getting an AGM MP40 and 6 extra mags shipped from HK for $200 is a good deal. Similarly priced would cost me at least $75-100 more from a US retailer without calculating shipping costs. I'll let you all know when it shows up if I got everything I ordered.

I've had a good experience with them in the past, ordered an AK74, some mags, and a few batteries from them 4 days before Christmas and got it Christmas Eve. 0 flaws in the entire process. I plan on doing business with them again.

Update: I received an email from Boom yesterday stating my MP-40 and mags were shipped out on March 12th. I got the package today. All items received. So in total it was 8 days from placing the order to receipt. Pretty quick considering they are in Hong Kong.
My only beef would be that the charger for the battery won't work in my outlets. Not a problem since a new battery and charger was always planned to be the first upgrade anyway.
As has been said, detailing negative experiences with a vendor are useful. But based on the small sample size of people who've replied to this thread, it seems like Charlie November's experience was an exception.

Annnnnd the saga continues. A week or so back they said they would ship that mag the next day. In the meantime I took them up this weekend on a great deal on extra mags for all my guys and ordered 20 lo caps. They sent me a confirmation within a day or two and the mags got here today. Only one slight problem....all the mags are hicaps when I needed them to be all locaps. I stated it in my order the confirmed back giving me a price for 20 locaps. So again I'm only one guy but this is 2 orders they have screwed up in a row. I needed locaps to use at JTD now I have to find some way to unload all of these and still buy and recieve the locaps I wanted and payed for to begin with. Also of note that mag they said they sent out they never did. They sent it with these. What if I had never ordered these mags would I have ever recieved that mag I should have recieved to begin with? Again you guys can spend money with them if you would like but I will not. Buyer beware sometimes you will get what you expect from them and sometimes you may get the short end of the stick.

Can you ship it back?
RSOV has pretty good prices on locaps too.

The price of shipping it back would be prohibitive but I do have an email back to them to see what they say....

If it was their mistake they should pay shipping both ways to correct themselves...

yes they SHOULD but they are not going to. From the email I recieved back to paraphrase: there is only one kind of Thompson mag. We sent it to you. If we could find the low caps we would sell them to you for the same price you just paid. Go ahead and sell those mags you didn't want for us because we don't want to suck up shipping. From my understanding (from someone that has done 10's of thousands of dollars worth of business with HK)this is the usual response from dealing with HK dealers. If it goes great then great everybody wins. If they ship you the wrong stuff that my friend is your problem. I for one will never buy from Boomarms.com again and know 2 other guys that will not either.....unfortunatley their are 100 other customers to take our places.

And finally after trying to get money back or the right mags with paypal they also said screw you. So in the end deal with boomarms if you like but they are lying stealing cocksuckers that will take your money and send you whatever they decide to send you and their is nothing you can do about it short of getting on a plane and jamming the product back up thier asses...

Boomarms handel my orders very well. I ordered an Custom M16vn and Custom M16a1, as well as five G&P midcap 20rd. style magazines. All three orders were processed and shipped to my doorstep within 3-5 days. Everything was nicely packaged, and I recieved what I ordered.
Sorry for you bad luck.

What I am telling you is if they shipped you the wrong mags or gun they would tell you to screw off...it's a fair warning it is not like I made it all up...

I think the people overseas just like to screw up Large/Bulk orders. We ordered stuff from HHK and he'll send half right away and the other half 4 months later, but he'll take all your money.
Its pretty lame.

No actually even with shipping the mags would have been an outstanding deal.....The foul up and they way they handled it afterwords is the problem. and on that note I sent a nasty gram to them. The response now is they will do what they should have to begin with and are sending those mags. We will see.

Ya it does, it would be half the cost of the mags or more to ship them. I think i decided again rsov because of this

Back last year I bought 20 MP40 mags from RSOV I think they ended up being 12.75 a peice shipped which at the time beat anyone anywhere shipped on those mags. Most US dealers could give me a similar deal with the mags being 12.00-13.00 a peice before shipping. If I needed to do it again I would pay the US guys extra and go through them.
