I remember my first reanactment death.... I was 12 in the 1st Louisiana Tigers V.I.R (Civil War Confederates elete unit) I was helping captian dave (artillery commander withe the 1850's Howitzers and when I was hit I just contorted and screamed for about 3 minuets. It was so corny but fun

Well, technically they did invade Japan. Iwo-Jima was Japanese soil, which is why they fought so hard for it. It was "sacred land".

Well, I don't know if we're the oldest but we're up there. Myself and my twin brother (ersatzjack) also known as Otto and Franz Verkaufer of the 9th SS will turn 52 in May. I'm actually retired which will now allow me to spend tons of time doing what I loved as a kid (playing army) - They say today's 50 was yesterday's 30 and at any rate, joining the club has made Otto and me feel 15 years younger so I guess we're about 15. We should fit right in.
