Hello Last week I inherited from my still living grandfather a Japanese Arisaka Type 99 rifle (and im positive its type 99). This got me VERY interested in the airsoft version of it. Unfortunately, it costs A LOT ($1290) and worse, The only place I can find it is at WWIIguns.com. They seemed like a good site up until I saw the thread on these boards saying how bad a site wwiiguns.com is. Do any of you know where else I can get my hands on an airsoft Arisaka? And if any other company makes cheaper models? thank you very much for your help.
p.s. is it just me or does there seem to be an utter lack of Soviet and Japanese guns on the market?

Just follow the thread then folks and have your check books ready! For a bolt action rifle the Arisaka was especially clean and quick to cock with the mechanism being virtually straight back and forward. Most unfortunatly had the Chrisantemum emblem (indicative of the emperors forces) shaved off following the war.

First and formost...Sniperx does not own Classicairsoft.net. He is just another member. Endo is not a scam, but they do charge way to much, and packages tend to get stuck in the mail...so, never use endo....
CA.net is owned by Plopansar.

I think the confusion comes from sniperx is a Paul and so is Plopanser plus Sniperx is very vocal on that forum...easy mix up.
