Well tell him to order more! I'm curious however as to the real net-net cost on these things- I mean gunner sells them for what $100? BoomArms gets $128- we all know what S-3 is at... I'm sure Gunner is making some kind of profit- but what kind of profit? I mean if they sell for $100 bucks, do they cost $50? Oh well, like I said just curious....... -G

Probally wants to see if these first ones sell first.
Let me relate it to PB retailing. A large distributor in PB supplies would sell to individual shops at say paintball gun A for 85.00 then that same Distributor had webpages that sold that same gun for 89.99 therefore effectivley cutting the throat of the small PB retailers....Might be the same thing in airsoft over there.

I still haven't gotten mine from davestuff (ASR forum board guy) But I did get a shipping verification for both it and the spare mags. We've had horrible weather so UPS and Fed Ex and the USPO have all been pretty behind.

Just sent the money for the MP40 at Gunner. It should arrive in 3-5 days with EMS. Id be interested to know when you get it. A couple of days after I paid Gunner I got a mass email (with about 25 other buyers on it) saying it would be a week or two... I think he might be overwhelmed with orders right now since the S-3 news broke. You guys also might want to consider putting a warning sticky up about the scam Derek pulled with the S-3 rebranding. I understand your rationale that $260 is still a bargin for a working MP40, but it was highly unethical. It would be nice if newbie airsofters had that info so they dont buy from him in the future unaware. I personally found the "Dont go to WWIIGUNS" sticky very helpful. I appreciate you guys taking the time to put up a warning thread sticky... Dave

Once we verify absolutely and unequivocally that the internals are one and the same between the S-3 and the AGM I think such a warning is called for and reasonable since he specifically and emphatically claimed that they were not and charged so much more for apparently the same gun.
He'll still find plenty of buyers, no doubt but perhaps not from this boards readership.

"Once we verify absolutely and unequivocally that the internals are one and the same between the S-3 and the AGM......" Yeah- let me know how that goes.....if only we knew someone that has handled both....... -G

I was wondering if any of you guys (who are in the US) and ordered the AGM MP40 from Gunner had a ballpark figure for what shipping should cost. I could not figure out the shipping calulator on the site and have not heard back from the website yet with an estimate. Thanks!

LOL, Hey Guinness, now maybe you understand how I felt when after I spent the day out in the snow with two other people testing a brand new chinese MP-40 against two other known decent shooting MP-40's and when I gave my honest review. A couple guys (who have never handled a Top MP-40) said " I don't know, I think Schmitty got a bad one, When I shoot mine at a 55 gallon drum 10 feet away I can hit it every time" Schmitty

Guess it would be easier to fake-bake this one, but you still need to open the gearbox eventually, to put the upgrades in and clean out the old grease.

"Still need to open the gearbox eventually..."As opposed to one that needs extensive rework or simply doesn't work at all? That my friend, is a no brainer.

Good day from ukrainian airsofters!!! Our team is " Ukrainian Resistence Army" from WW2 period, so I want to buy AGM MP-40 (mp 0007), but 280 fps is to small for me. So I have some questions: 1) Can I use in this GB " Guarder gear kit for Tokio Marui AEG 2/3 original type"? with spring "SYSTEMA M 100" or 120? 2) What other upgrede I must do? if I want to have 320, or (if it possible) 390 fps? Thanks for your answers!!!! P.S. JAEGER - are you from Ukraine? (I see you use symbol of "ukrainian inside army" - "óêðà¿íñüê³ âíóòð³øí³ â³éñüêà" ?)

knyaz, First off, Welcome to the WW2AA forum! I work with a guy from Kiev, Ukranians are great people- Secondly, one of our genius members, biged posted some related info on mechboxes and motors: and here: He points out that he has not seen this particular clone gearbox, so the upper limits of increased springs (m130) is still risky. As well, the HK retailer WGC is selling these upgraded to 320fps for $120 USD right now- I would imagine they ship to the Ukraine AGM MP40 @ WGCSlainte! -G

Does anyone know what WGC plans on doing to the internals to get 320-340fps?
In the item description there is no mention of any internal (mechbox) upgrades:
"Removed fire selector mode and revamped lower receiver to have authentic looking. Removed cut off lever, full auto only."
Its on preorder for $20 more then gunner is selling his (unmodified).. Considering the external work they claim will be done, that doesnt leave a whole lot for internal upgrades...
Or is the 320-340 claim just blowing smoke...

They have a pretty good reputation However, its likely 'outsourced' because apparently WGC brokers a lot of their stuff. -G

I would think they would mention any gearbox work done in a customized gun, there is nothing to suggest that the figures given are not just an esimation by the retalier, besides their reputation, which, although good, may have made a mistake.

I got my MP40 last Saturday. I have 6 spare mags inbound, but not arrived yet. For the price, I am more than pleased with how the gun looks and functions. I put a 9.6v 1200mah in it and it is a total BB hose. I can't wait to use it at our next game in February.

Mine arrived today 23 Jan along with the spare magazines that were ordered about a week after the MP40. I haven't fired it yet (charging the battery) but i was surprised by the amount and quality of the metal. It's got quite a bit of heft to it and the folding stock seems quite substantial. I will do Schmittys bakelight treatment and rent it out at the Long winter. I'm sure some German who was going to show up with his burlap wrapped M4 will be happy.
