www.rsov.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=323&osCsid=1eb2de02226186dbcad1a2bd63515501New version, now with "bakelite" parts! It's a little hard to see on the pictures, but if you look really good, you can see the painted/printed texture on the brown plastic. Price is 137,12$, so unless there are more improvements, it's not really worth it. They also have magazines for 13,7$ for 2. I'm wondering if it's 30 rounds as the title says, or 50 rounds as the description says. I hope the '30 rounds' just refer to the RS magazine it's replicating.

I doubt it's refering to 30 being the real steel one, as they hold 32 rounds. I still haven't received mine from Gunner Airsoft....I ordered on the 17th and today is the 27th. 10 days.......and I paid for 3-5 day shipping. Hasn't responded to ANY of my emails after I sent the payment. I don't recommend ordering from Gunner, worst service I've had in a while.

It looks like the S-3 website is gone Big surprise! I think enough information is available to add that to a no-buy warning. But on second thought, since their site is gone, what's the point? www.airsoftforce.com/Need Gardening Tools?

Dave: (or anyone who's ordered from Gunner).
You said you ordered your MP40 on the 11th and got it on the 23rd. It's funny, I paid for the 3-5 day shipping ($67) on the 17th and still have not received it. I have sent numerous emails to the guy and he does not reply. Did he reply to you? I am considering reporting him to paypal. I wanted to hear other feedback before I do so.
Any info is appreciated. Thank you Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Were you one of the people who got the mass email from Gunner that said: Thank you for your purchase We've received your money. And your order willbe sent within a week (maxium two weeks) Thanks again for your purchase Gunnerairsoft
That email went to a whole bunch of people which is kinda tacky because everyone's email address was in the bulk "to". We then began discussing it amongst ourselves.. not everyone on that list was purchasing the MP40 and as of yesterday, there were still at least one guy who had not recieved his gun.
However, I assume just about everyone else on the list (must have been 30+ people) got their gun or they would have said something.
I wouldnt be too concerned. Some of the people on the listed commented to me (privately) that this is standard practice for Gunner. Cheap and reliable, but slow.. and really bad with email.
Dont give up hope yet.
Dave

You've restored some hope to me and I greatly appreciate the information. Cheers, Thomas

Mine came in just before Long Winter and I had a little time to mess with it. Fortunately the spare magazines came in as well. I rented it to a young German and he chocked up numerous eliminations with it with no complaints. The gun fed well shot fine and of course looked great. I'll do the bakelight effect and aging and make it look as right as rain. I love the way it feels as it is solid and heavy. The folding stock seems quite strong. A wonderful addition to my arsenal.

Did you order from Gunner Airsoft? If so, how long did it take? Today it's been 15 days and I paid for 3 to 5 day shipping. NO response to ANY emails.

I did get it from Gunnerairsoft. (But through an agent of theirs apparently (davestuff) While I paid immediately and was set up for 3-5 day shipping it took more like 10 days. I was starting to get concerned. I go direct to Gunner from now on. In fact I placed and paid for a large order just yesterday. We'll see how long beofre I receieve this one. They are usually pretty darn good.

I just don'e know why he chooses not to respond to emails. It's been 15 days and I'm beginning to believe it may be in customs or perhaps he chose not to send it. I started a paypal dispute....we will see what happens.

I hate to sound like the eternal optomist, 'cause I'm not, but one has to wonder if many of these dealers got caught unawares of how popular the MP40 is. If this is in fact the case it might bode well for future interest by Chinese manufacturers.

It's a fine little piece. IMO it got the perfect rate of fire and perfect power output, to fill the role as an SMG.
I have used it twice now, and it did the job both times.
Now to get some more magazines....

Im glad to hear that Indy... some guys on that email list I had who ordered when I did still dont have theirs.. I dont know about the charger. I cut off the connector and threw the charger away. I use a smart charger from my local hobby store... It makes a world of difference.. imho. Dave

lopik, Welcome to all our HoE's!!! ...what? he said it!?! ;D Anyway, welcome and all that I'm not sure about the WGC mags yet, but I can let you know Friday because that is when my order will arrive from them I can tell you that the mags from rsov.com are 50 rounds because I have two of those, and the mag that came with the gun is 30, but Im sure I could squeeze the additional two in to make it 32. I have read that these mags seem to be reverse-engineered copies of the TOP MP40 mags, with the internals....reversed- so I wonder if TOP made 32 and 50 round mags or if they ever made higher capacity mags for their MP40 that could be retro-fitted to work with the AGM. now that your here, please make sure to stop by our meet and greet section and introduce yourselves! ww2aa.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1142339987&page=4Slainte! -G

After reloading the magazine that came with the gun a a few times, i found out that after the first 30 rounds, it becomes real hard to get more bb into the magazine, and you really have to push hard. Then it goes ok for another 20 rounds. But it does this every single time. Maybe you magazine have some flaw that prevents the last 20 rounds from being inserted?

The bb tube probably doubles back on itself at a bit past the halfway point, being in effect 30 down and 20 back up. It gets harder to load the rounds after you have to start pushing them around the bend. I'm only speculating, though, as I haven't seen one dissassembled. Some airsoft midcaps are made this way, though.
