Hey guys, I need a little info on the Tanaka Kar98. Like what kind of FPS will it get on green gas and 134a. Also is there a PCS I can get on the gun? I found some thing that LOOKs like a PCS but I'm not to sure. www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=5297Thanks for any help, RB

That atleast answers part of your question. Found on this very site by the way... Assuming PCS(Pressure Control System) is a tunable FPS bolt then that is what you linked to as far as I know. It controls the amount of air getting to the bb so you can tune down or up with your gun. A handy bit of kit and standard on the G version of the Tanaka.

is that converting unit the only difference between the old and G versons of the KAR 98k? Because the price difference is around 130 dollars and that unit only costs 18 dollars.
Does anyone know what was the problem with the old version anyway?
I apologize for the thread hijacking

The G-version also have a working safety. But that should be just about it. The PCS system is no good anyway, if you get an improved nozzle.

How do you mannage to break it?? My kar98k shot a few thousand rounds, without any problems (apart from hop rubber dying, when using super-crappy bbs that disintegrated in the barrel)

Yes but it becomes a major pain in the Arse when you have to carry an extra part .65 in the field. Does anyone know any procedures when using the gun, that you cant break your part 65? Again, I dont think my gun likes me...

I think you should send your gun to some one who knows more about about it to fix it. I mean I've fired 400-500 rounds threw my gun if not more. And nothing of that sort has borken. Maybe there is some else happening thats screwing up that part.
