Hello fellow airsofters. I have a question pertaining to a grease gun I recentley saw online. It was a spring action and I was wondering if it would be a good beginner weapon. I also saw a spring action M1A1 Thompson SMG. Any suggestions for a beginner? By the way, the FPS on both was in the 200's. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Sure why not. For $30.00 it's decent enough. Kinda like saying for a fat girl she really doesn't sweat much. It's a vety relative term. The scale on the springer grease gun is somewhat off. Too bulbous and with a hokey and unrealistic rail system and improper sling mount. But they shoot like most springers and at least give you a WW2ish look. With the new Chinese MP-40 priced at around 150.00 that's waht I'd save up for and don't be suprised if the same company comes out with a grease gun soon enough

If you really want to choose a spring gun, get the spring thompson. It might be 3 times as much, but its a good rifle. Don't get the one with the drum mag.

At the price of the Thompson springer you're close enough to the $150.oo or so for the AEG MP40 which is a very nice quality piece and competitive on the skirmish field.
