Is it easy to convert a VSR to a kar98 from that airsoft gun?
And how could I do?

Great tip Gefreiter but I suspect some pictures and perhaps a tutorial would be most helpful. I agree that these guns can be used as functional weapons at a WW2 airsoft event where every one has limited ammo and the number of fully automatic guns is authentically limited. You will need lots of spare shells and learn to work well with your MGs. Yep, I purchased 60 extra shells for a total of 65. They are annoying to load… but not so bad once you have stripper clips. As far as a tutorial… I suppose I can do one. But really, all you are doing is removing a pin from the bolt. No disassembly required. Just pull you bolt out normally. At the end with the air nozzle there is a pin. It appears as though it would have a purpose like holding something together. This is just appearance. All this pin does is restrict air flow. Remove the pin and back fill the holes left behind on either side of the bolt. WHALLA!!! More air flow!!! And a slightly better shot! alright i have this kar 98k and i also would love a picture! and the barrel sounds a little pricy, do you think a m 14 barrel would fit in it? how do you take the gun apart to get the barrel out?

Its a really nice display gun. The wood and metal finishes are fantastic for a chinese weapon. It also has a nice weight to it. I'd recommend it for a wall hanger, a display weapon, or a back yard plinker but for serious skirmishing I wouldn't use it.

I know this gun gets a bad rap, and I do agree it has it's faults. But whether you can use it in a skirmish depends totally on how you use it. If you try going up against three guys with tommy guns... well of course you're going to get shot. But if you can conceal yourself and take them out one by one, you'll stand a chance. Of course, that depends on if you actually manage to hit them... but like I said, it has it's faults. Overall, it's a fun gun... and that's why I love mine.

As said above, I doubt this gun would be much use in a regular airsoft battle. However in a realistic WWII Airsoft battle where rifles dominate the field, supported by MG's, it could work very well.

this gun is hard to use in a battle not to mention the horrible shells usage so the gun is more of a replica and the spring is hard to push forward during a battle

The only way you can use this gun in any battle is if you have a death wish.
First, we have found that one has to literally carry unjamming equipment with them at all times. My bread bag has needle nose pliers and a piece of wire, just for in battle shell removal. You cannot load more than two rounds in the gun, or you will almost guarantee jam. We joke that the weapon is more like a Martini-Henry, since most of us only bother to load one round at a time to minimize jams. For a bolt action springer it is not particularly powerful or accurate. Against AEGs, I would almost rather throw BBs at people, or use the gun as a club. Even against other springers it takes two or three of us against one magazine loaded springer.
We have three D-boys K98ks at our disposal, and these problems have been endemic to all of them. Even with replacement shells, modifications, and various repairs, the problems persist. The weapon is nice looking and the action is pleasant, but those are about the only positive things I can say. It is a great shame that the only affordable kar 98k had to copy an inferior design. In good conscience I would not recommend it to anyone, unless they were distinctly aware of its flaws.

I wrote this based on the springer, but I have since purchased the gas model. Oddly enough the shells from the springer jam almost 100%, the shells that came with the gas version do not.
Range and accuracy are much better with the gas model, and while the shells remain the achillies heel, the gun itself is perfectly reasonable IMHO.

It is fine to do. Before you paint it make sure to cover up any of the openings that could let paint get into the internals. I'd also sand down the bolt with rough sand paper so the paint will stick better. I'd also use a clear protective coat so it will last longer. I've done this with a BAR-10 and it seems to work well.

I weathered my DBoy Kar98K, I stuck a Check VZ-24 stock on it, I am still in the process of the conversion. I also need the proper butt plate, I used the one that come with it that was too small lol. Attachments:
