I've been in the search section for 20 minutes now and all I get is No Result Found, so has anyone done a review on the Air-Sharp Ma Deuce here? I know you just underwent some changes, so perhaps it got deleted accidentally.

I did finally find Killbucket's post and the photos. I mistook it for a review when I saw it originally. Then I couldn't find it, and finally (after posting this thread, of course) found the damn thing. If anyone actually has one, howsa bout a review?

I don't think at this point anyone from this board has bought one. I plan to but haven't thus far as too many other things are on my plate. I imagine perfromance and feature wise it will be very similar to the .30 Cal which I think is quite awesome.

Yeah, I know. Technically it's been 14 weeks. I don't really mind waiting for a custom item, although Ian could stand to polish up a bit on keeping intouch with his customers. I emailed him 3 different times with questions and he never responded. I saw his work worn-finish on Arnies and asked him about that, then he answered me. I won't even try bothering emailing again. Having been self-employed I know how hard it can be to keep up with things, but paid cutomers always come first. Not a criticism, just an observation.

My observations; Still waiting as well, just over 2 months. No individuals have responded stating they've received their gun. R&D, Prod. development, even web upgrades seem to be humming along nicely. Disconcerting.

Mine was supposed to have shipped out yesterday. I will cross my fingers and hope to see it on my porch next Friday.

I just received a long awaited order from Killbucket. He is frustratingly slow but as always (I have ordered several things from him) He exceeded my expectations greatly and threw some extra things in, which of course takes some of the sting out of waiting.
Be patient and I along with a lot of other folks are no doubt waiting for your report.

No sign of the gun yet, though I forgot about the Holiday this last Monday. We will see if it's waiting for me after work tomorrow. Ian hadn't sent me a tracking # as requested, but that isn't a big suprise. The biggest thing that bugs me isn't the wait(5 Months).....it's the tough communication. Oh well, I am sure I will be happy with it once it gets here.

OK, it is finally here!!!!! Unfortunately the tripod isn't yet The gun looks really nice. There are a few things I want to tweak, but overall I am pretty happy. I will post up some pics and a short review soon.

OK, here are a couple of pics of the M2HB. One by itself and one with a couple of other support weapons. After 20+ weeks and the fact that the tripod didn't get sent with the gun, I would recommend buying the kit and building this yourself if you are handy. The fit and finish wasn't quite up to par, probably because he got sick of me bugging him and slapped one together to get rid of me. LOL. When we first shot it, it shot 20 feet high (no exageration) The barrel centers were very rough and there was dried glue in the barrel joint keeping the barrel out of concentricity. That was an easy fix, once I realized what the problem was. Unfortunately the gun is not skirmishable yet, because I have no bipod. They did send a cradle mount for my troubles and the long wait, but the mount slider was installed backwards, so you can't mount the gun to it anyway. I would say that the builder must be very overwhelmed time-wise. Maybe less time needs to be spent on the cool one-off projects constantly posted on the net, and more time spent on the customers guns. Two good points though! Ian is going out of his way to make good on the problems, just too bad that he has to. The other is that the mechanics of the gun and box mag are flawless. I put a 2000 burst through it and it never skipped a beat. All in all, I am relatively happy with the gun and glad I got it. I am also thankful that I am handy around the work bench. I will work up a more detailed review and post it up on the mfiairsoft site once I have used it a bit in the field.

Okay, if they please could, I'd like everyone who purchased one of these to post how long it took them to receive it. I ordered one on 6/23, and have thus far received diddly, and haven't heard anything since august. EDIT: I received a message from killbucket today, he's encountered troubles with parts and things, but has them solved. I should be getting this soon.

Purchased July 10th, 2008, For a large game scheduled for September 7th FRUSTRATINGLY, it did not make it in time which sucked because it had been written into the scenarios and a RPK and M249 were poor substitutes. Currently I am still waiting. I did receive One E mail response in November that it would be "shipping at the end of the week", this either did not happen due to another delay? I did request a tracking number but have not received it yet so I am going to assume it did not ship.
I am trying very hard not to send more than one or two E mails a month on status. I am hope full and trying to be patient as I realize there have been a variety of issues on Ian's end beyond his control. I do think it will be worth the wait when it does arrive next year, I am still looking forward to having it.
Oh, as a side topic, ryn1523 and anyone else that owns a RPK (SCR/TSD), It is a fantastic replica however, the stock is very weak where it mounts to the body. However, a G&P AK body is a bolt on replacement that does work, I am on my third body right. ( two factory and one G&P) As of now and its cracked and needs replaced again. The G&P body is superior in every way to the stock one.

Well another month has passed with nothing to show. The only time I seem to get a response to my e-mails is when I post something about it on these boards, so we'll see how this goes.

This is needless to say very troubling. I have ordered numerous items from Ian and while they were about 2 months from payment to receipt I always got them. The fact that it can be this incredibly delayed is a great heads up for any potential orders. I love his enhancements and people seem quite pleased with their items once they finally receive them. I thought his new production processes and new alliance was going to speed things up but apparently not.

Since Sept, when it was clear to ian that I wasn't happy, he made it very clear (on Arnies) to everyone, on the message board, that he was going to ship me a kit, so that I could rebuild the gun to the quality I expected it to be. He also made it clear that he would be sending me a new, corrent tripod. Well,........here it is the end of December and I have never heard another word from him again. He is essentially F.O.S. (not to hard to figure out) There is always some issue beyond his control. he doesn't seem to have any issues when he is depositing your $$ though. When I complained about the quality of the gun and the fact that it was clearly a second that he had taken pics of on his website, he told me that since i was bugging him so much, he just sent me something to quite me. How rude of me to expect a product I paid good $$ for, show up on time and work. He spends way to much time on "cool projects" and not enough time on working for the people that give him $$. Just another hobbyist in over his head and to arrogant to admit it. Rant over!

I ordered mine on July 24th, 2008 and no sign at all. Ian has replied to me a few times, stating in the last email ( end of November ) that my M2 "will ship very soon". I am still want to be possitive and think that I will receive it before end of January when I wll attend a large game, but I have a bad feeling reading your posts here. Apparently he is not accepting any new order for the M2's at his website in order to fill the pending orders. Anyway, if any of you have any news it would very helpful you share it here..

Shadycadence, and anyone else waiting, I share your frustration but I am still trying to be patient. I suggest that you do as well. It very hard not to send Hate mail every week. I am just hopping that it is worth the wait. This will be something special on the field when I finally get it. Lets just trust that Ian will come through with our orders. At least he is not taking on new ones until he gets OURs done now. He has got to be overwhelmed. Ours should be coming any time now. But then again, I have had four months of waiting to cool off after being disappointed that my order did not make it for a big game. We managed to arrange for the PA guard to attend and bring out "props" ** to the field. But I could not supply the M2 I expect after waiting 9 weeks of lead time. I made my order specifically with the intent that it would be put in a ring mount on a Humvee or the 2-1/2 ton truck. By Friday, just before the game it had not arrived and I had to tell the organizers and the 'Guard that it had not arrived. Talk about disappointment. This game had over 200 players in NOT counting the guard. What is missing here? If you guessed a really cool M2 you would be right. Now over six months later. I am just planning (wishing) that it makes in time for the spring big game. The point of this little trip into off topic was to point out and reinforce that you are not alone, I am for one still confident that I will eventually get my replica and I think you will too. * photos are from the gallery at c3airsoft.com ** PA National Guard came out as a recruiting drive, they supplied us with medical, a water buffalo of potable water, even teams out a little. Blue forces were out numbered by 60 players (oops), a 2-1/2 ton and 5 ton truck, a 105mm howitzer (to use as a objective) and a trio of humvee. one of which was kept as a ambulance the other two were used to insert forces on the field. This is a public thanks for coming out.

Does anybody have any news? I have sent three emails to Ian in the last three weeks but he has not replied to any of them. I think that, at least, we, his customers, deserve to get answers to the emails we sent. I have been polite in all my emails so I do not understand why he is not responding to me.. This wait is killing me..

I'm just curious...has anyone considered legal action to reclaim their money? 6 months of waiting after being billed is way too long to just sit back and get gaffed off. Contacting the better business business burea in that state may be a better option though.
