It operated the same with the 134a. I am definately done with this gun. Can't get a reply from the seller and it looks like I'm stuck with it. Definately a piece of crap gun.
Hey you can't screw the orange tip off. Best way to get it off is with a hacksaw.

My friend has the 6" one, and it broke in a couple clips. The slide does lock back on his too with both gasses, and it shoots full auto every 3 shots. Also it jams like hell and the trigger stuck when I was firing it. The internals pretty much just fell apart after only firing it for like a minute
Definitly not worth it.

Me and my friend have the 4" lugers and we have used them for 2 years now without serious fault.

Just to add to what I said above, a couple of days ago we were using it in the rain for like 20 minutes. The gun sucked as it is and it shoots only once then all the gas shoots out. But now it isn't even working/ Bearly any rain even got into it. We took it apart and dried parts off too. This gun sucks.

I want to get this, but I'm afraid, a friend and I had gone through about 5 WE Tech 1911's, and we REALLY take great care of our guns, they just failed...without fail. After owning it for a while, what would you say now?

You've seen the previous replys. They run from "the best thing since sliced bread" to "a piece of crap". I've since torn my gun down and the crap internals are lucky to survive much over a clip or two. Yet, there are those who say they have used their guns for over two years. I dunno.

I got my WE Luger p08 with no external signs of wear, however the take-down lever doesn't stay in place, you have to hold it down while firing, can anyone help?

It does seem like these are hit and miss. I've had the Luger P08 for over a year now without issue. Had I gone through here before buying it I might have hesitated though. It seems like it is the luck of the draw.

It seems like it is the luck of the draw. It sounds like you may be missing the small spring and plunger that WE put into the takedown lever. If you have the manual they are parts 82 & 83 on the exploded parts diagram. Fortunately, Evike sells theses two parts as spares. A little pricey at $7.20 for two tiny parts but essential to keep the slide in place so the gun will fire. I suspect this is a common problem for these parts to go missing. I don't know why WE felt they needed to add these parts. The real steal doesn't have them. When I first bought my 4" Luger I took the takedown lever out and they sprang out. Fortunately, after a lot of looking, I was able to find them. I guess it really is hit or miss. I bought my 4" right after they first came out, maybe I was just really lucky, mine still works flawlessly. No leaking in mag or anything.

Anyone care to opine 're causative issue in play with both my WE P08s? After about 200 rounds or so BOTH of my WE Lingers suffer the same problem, weirdly enough: With the toggle in battery (lying flat) the mags will not insert fully into the Magwells. If I pull the toggle up ALL the way and insert the mags, they slide and lock into place (and the pistols fire as they should). Anyone have an idea as to why this should be? Kind of strange that it happens on BOTH guns :/p Time to buy the KWA C02 P08? (perhaps more of the same though, who the heck knows).

Pretty sure it was KWC, not KWA.

I believe your problem gunner is that the luger has to be cocked before you can insert the mag. Try cocking and returning the action to battery before inserting the mag

I'm not even sure it's out yet, I just remember seeing done pictures of the prototype somewhere.

Redwolf Airsoft has it for sale, but beware because it is just a CO2 clone of the crappy WE Luger

Thanks Sitka. I'll pull 'em from storage and do just that! Was not aware that the Luger has to be cocked before it will accept seating of a magazine! But then again I was never much of a handgun guy (out of 260+ guns in my collection, I have maybe 15 pistols, most of them upgraded with metal slides, frames, and the usual stuff like enhanced hammers, springs, etc.). Bought the WE Lugers because I just love the lines of the gun! LOL - I came close recently to purchasing the WE 'snail' mag but have as yet failed to do so. Probably just as well - from what I'm reading 're the less-than-stellar quality of materials used in the WE Lugers, that's just likely to torture test an already failure prone platform.
If true 're the C02 Luger merely being a material copy of the WE gun - well that sounds like a story with an unhappy (and rather quick) ending. Too bad too (if so); as I imagine the tactile experience would be very nice indeed upon trigger pull of the C02 powered pistol!!!
Cheers guys:)
