Oh my god this movie is hilarious. These two producers are trying to scam old people and make the worst broadway play ever.It has a whole bit on Hitler and the nazis. It is not historically accurate but it's too funny to care.

"Don't be stupid be a smarty, join the nazi party, the goose-step, the new step, today!!"

Mel Brooks did a WWII movie called "To be or not to be" about a group of Jewish people trying to escape Poland. At one point Mel impersonates Hitler to gain access to a plane and when he gets to England he still has his Hitler disguse on, he goes into a pub and he asks "Hey is this England?!"

did you see the original movie with zero mostel and gene wilder. its funnier than the modern version. Definitely the better version, and suprisingly short. I'm still partial to the history of the world, "I bring you these fiftee... TEN commandments" "Those Christians are so poor" ROMAN: "How poor are they?" "Their so poor, they can only afford, one God!" "And there's those fat Romans,... oh."

"You flunked flank?? Get the flunk outta here!!"
