go here to see it. profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=89054370This is my first ever ww2 film. it didnt have a budget so excuse how wierd it may look. The next one will have some better guns etc. Any hints, tips would be appreciated. Also, weo nly had 6 people so many people had to die more than once. When you see the kid get popped by a mp40, its actually a grazed ear. lol.

First off the kid holding the LAW has it backwards. lol. Just work on getting period weapons and uniforms. Getting any uniforms would be better than kids running around in shorts and nikes. Try out a local surplus store.

I'm sorry if I sound overly critical, but the editing and sound effects were horrible. When the sniper shots were sounding out, none of the shots matched the gun and the shooting sound itself managed to just end in the middle of a shot (ex: BANG BANG BA....). Gun reloads seemed to have rotated between the sniper rifle single-round-reload to the Garand's very distinctive reload, even on guns that had obviously more than eight round magazines.
At many times during the movie I couldn't tell just what the hell was happening or who was on what side.
This was a good effort for a first movie, don't get me wrong, but there are things that need to be improved upon.

Not bad for a first effort. I thought overall the music and sounds worked well with the scenes. Like Gordak pointed out, It's better than a lot of the Sci fi channels own productions.

It's cool, but nothing to do with ww2. Just get some uniforms first, and once you make it black and white, it wont matter if it's Flaggrantly Wrong or not, cuz you wont see it perfectly. But it will look nicer than Nikes, heh.
Sam's right, blows SS- Farbtrooper out of the water.

I'm working on the script for a comedy, however, the same problems apply, the whole arming and dressing like the 9 or so guys I'll need for it.

as u said, not the greatest, awfully pricey for not being the greatest.
I'll figure something out, I'm still in the script writing stages anyways.

Hey, it's better than buying a whole bunch of airsoft guns, that can get REALLY expensive REALLY fast.

I'd stay away from Cushman guns, they look like sh*t, not worth the price.

I was looking through the toy gun section fo kappowe and jeez, if you were doing a vietnam movie, for 20 bucks you could outfit an entire platoon. Forget the resin or trying to save up way too much for airsoft guns for stage use. However if you look on the second page of "REALISTIC TOY GUNS" you'll find a Thompson that looks like ppsh with down syndrome lol.

Hey man if you want to improve this movie you first need to change the name to something more original. Also make the peoples voices visible i can't understand a word you guys where saying. I know you introduced the characters at the begining but you need to better describe in the movie not just the intro credits. I understand you guys don't have a local army surpuls store but I bet you could find some olive drabs somewhere for the allies, and you might as well do without the helmets. the sound was pretty good considering your all kids. You also need to get somekind of boots weather they are combat boots or just work boots you need to get some anything will do besides nikes and shorts and white t shirts.

lol. it was our first effort. but we will attempt to improve. we did make another one. its called ESCAPE! but, i dont like it very much. Check back soon, were going to make a comedy, and a SWAT action film. I am currently saving up for a better video camera. I used a bad one for the ww2 film. Thanks for all the help.

The ESCAPE! movie is actually okay but seriously if you get some uniforms and some cushman helmets it will look a whole lot better
