Anyone seen this 60's film about the battle of Anzio? There's some cool German sniper action toward the end.

nice post war tunic and trousers, thats E.German Tan and Water and thats not even a "military" style Kar98, its a "hunter" or a "sporter" version. Theres no handguard on top!

My grandfather served with the 713th Flame thorwing tank Bn in the south pacific - it was the only part of the 11th armored division that was not in europe during WW2

For 1960's hollywood, the sniper actually isnt that bad. But for our standards, he looks like a paintballer. I just appreciate that they tried.
Isn't that also the same movie where the americans are marching onto a ship with british bolt action enfeilds and mg 42s over their shoulders???!!??!?

hey i remember this movie. For the most part, i really liked it, some good close calls in it. Not as good as Saint and Soldiers, or the Big Red One, but still a good movie to watch when theres nothing on
