The last couple of MOH games where not so good and I had lost hope in this series but bought Vanguard anyway and was pleasantly surprised. This is a very fun and interesting game. Best of all is the enemy AI. Instead of just repeatedly poking their heads out from behind cover in the exact same spot the enemy will often relocate when they realize you've got them pinned. Also MG gunners have to reload!!
I believe it is only for PS2 and Wii. MOH: airborne comes out later this year for X360 and PS3

Ya, I was waiting to hear about Medal of Honor Vanguard. Im Glad that it is good EA cant afford another debunk like the last PS2 games... though i thought Pacific and those were good. Hopefully Airborne will be just as good. I also want to see an expansion for Medal of Honor Pacific Assualt, though that is still a GREAT game by my standards. -Cary

Yeah. I kinda lost my faith in MOH after "Euopeon Assault". Hopefully this one is better. They have these at my local Movie Gallery, I guess I'll ave to rent it sometime.

I'm considering renting Vanguard for PS2 (I don't have any "next-gen" consoles), but I'm just a little sketchy on if it will be entirely worth the $6+ to get it. Yes, I am cheap. I am, however, eagerly awaiting MoH: Airborne for the PC on August 28th- I've got a very nice gaming rig and I can't wait to test that game out! There's word that we might get a demo sometime in July, so I'm always keeping my fingers crossed for that.

I enjoyed European Assault, but to this day , I have not defeated the last level. HELP !!! You have to hide in the farmhouse after liberating the woman in the basement & killing the German Officer down there. A King Tiger tank will soon circle the farmhouse as you are assaulted by Germans from all sides. Keep your head down around the windows. You must keep shooting the Panzerfaust (fire rockets out of the windows) at the tank until it blows up (4 or 5 hits). This ends the level and game. It's very hard to do. Good luck.

I rented it, and it wasn't that bad. Interesting concepts, but the missions left alot to be desired and almost every soldier in Market Garden was a corporal, lol! Anyway, the last mission kinda left the "team based combat" sunk in the mud. <where you have to battle solo through a bombed out factroy killing tiger tanks and a couple hundred fallschrimjager> The addition of Huskey, Market Garden, and Varsity was great, but I wish they had added North Africa as well.

MOH Vangaurd, not as good as Allied Assualt. But however better than Breakthrough and Rising Sun. Spearhead was okay except for the mix ups in US And British units.
