Gordak, I should explain, I am actually a fulltime firefighter. During my days off duty I try to help out at the workshops at the Tank muesuem at least once a week, I don't actually work there all the time. Although not very clear, the avatar shows me in a tracked rapier as one of the baddies for a 'tanks in action display' Biggest high for me so far is that I have ridden in Tiger 131 Steve

Occupation: Health information systems, national guard (11b/13f) Other Hobbies: Video game design, airsoft (My teams addy is, www.warairsoft.com and eugeneairsoft.info). Ive played airsoft for about a year now. Im on a team, the willamette airsoft rangers and Im active on www.airsoftpacific.com. Theres been a lot of talk lately about people starting some ww2 teams, and I decided it would be fun. Im not sure what kit Im going for. I was gonna go with the cliche of 101st airborne and use a thompson, but Ive been thinking about doing a kit based off my national guard units time in the south pacific during ww2.

Hello, My name is Valtteri and I'm into airsoft re-enacting. I browsed into this site when it was just set up, remembered it again now and decided to come and check out some similar-minded people abroad. I run an army gear shop in Finland and due to this, I've gotten way too much militaria to start listing specific impressions. ("Ooh we got only one piece of these, I think I will definitely need this") Suffice to say that it's nice to have my own separate storage room for them in the warehouse and not have to cram them into my apartment In games you would probably see me donning German MG-Schutze 1 gear. I'd like to play on the side of the Amis as well, just none of my friends have the enthusiasm/money to get the gear too, and it's such a rare occurrence to get to play in any WW2 game with them, so the US set has been for weekend games or special purposes so far. You can see me, shot in the head, here: s31.photobucket.com/albums/c359/jussijulma/LaFerme/?action=view¤t=Kuva520.jpgAlong with WW2 I'm very much into Vietnam re-enacting, and got a good collection for an army gunner/rifleman/blooperman loadout.

Greetings all, Chad Heckle, i turn the big 30 next month. Just had a first (and only) little girl born four weeks ago, so I havent been getting a lot of sleep....oh well, I have been on the reenacting seen for a while doing everythign from Brit Airborne, canadain infantry, us AB and Inf, and now focusing primarily on German. ( tropical FJ and SSFJ 500/600) Just got in my AGM mo40 and I am going to try the fake bake treatment on it. I am very very new to the airsoft community. I havent taken part in anything yet. As far as I know there is nothing realy near me right now. I live in Southeast Ga about an hour south of Savannah. So maybe Ill try and start something here. We'll have to see. Oh well, you'll see me lurking around here. So dont be scared Chad

And then we'll start a great big re-enactment of which'll have the final say in everything, the good (Allied) or the bad (Axis)?

Welcome to the boards!
I would suggest getting an AGM mp40 rather than a TOP. AGM's (I have heard) are much more reliable.

i agree, i think the general view is that the TOP is cosmetically better than the AGM, but less reliable
