Bren gun idea good. Killbucket like. Use a whole AK with a flipped, disguised mag. This sounds almost too easy. I've always liked the Bren. Pretty obscure, that's for sure. I am so gonna build one of these when I retire...HA!

Something tells me the little wheels in Killbucket's head are spinning like crazy. Good luck with it. If it is as reasonable as your other endeavors I'm sure you'll make a profit.

Bren gun has been done. I made a custom Bren from a parts kit 4 years ago. You can buy a airsoft replica from Shoot & scoot in England. Hop ups don't "go into reverse" or work upside down. You need to modify a hop up or use one from a P-90 (loads from the top). Mine uses a TM verIII gearbox. AK mags are not the same shape or curve and just don't fit or look right. Real bren mags are cheap and easy to get though and you can put the guts from many other mags inside one.

I own one of ShootnScoots Brens, it's a great bit of kit with quite a few original parts. My one is an early version which uses a hi-cap mechanism built into the gun with the winder just in front of the tiggerguard and the mag is just a hopper into which you can load quite a large number of bb's. The latest version uses a p-90 hop-up, as schmitty suggested, and original mags with 90 bb mid-cap innards

www.shootandscoot.co.uk/...things don't look too good for them... How much were these guns in price? If we do a Bren, it will be reasonably priced. The exotica is nice, but not a workable business model.

The address is www.shootnscoot.co.uk/ and they do ok for themselves I assure you. 680pounds is what they list now. Reasonable in the UK but not here as USD doubles your price almost.

This is a cheap 30 dollar discontinued Crosman "Stinger R30" pump gun that was clear and I painted it black. Crosman gave it some goofy name for legal reasons, but it's ACTUALLY an exact copy of a Beretta M12S submachine gun (which came out in 1959 and is still in service). I would love to own a full auto version of this baby. I just think it's too small to fit any size AEG motor in. Any ideas? They are dirt cheap right now as they are on clearance everywhere. Bottom pic is the MGC Japanese CO2 version from many years ago. If it's possible to make an AEG from this, I would be willing to buy the guns in bulk.

maybe a M14 gearbox, but it might be too tall. Also a AEP gear box might fit, but then it would be way underpowerd.

There's not a lot of room to work with, but if a Sten gun can become an AEG, then there's a chance.....As it is it's useless. Fires around 200 fps with .20. It does allow you to hold the trigger down and do rapid fire pumping (like the Airsoft shotguns). I bought it because I'm obsessed with the look & feel of the M12S. This thing is the most comfortable gun design I've ever held.

Argh...the entire shootnscoot site needs flashplayer, so I will never see it. I've never installed this needless item, likely never will...Yes, I'm missing out on content. But they are missing out on business.
Anyways, nice to see I just got some time freed up from building one. Maybe I'll look for one on Ebay sometime.
The M12S is nice, consider GBB pistol guns for a donor source, or possible a EBB Glock? Since it's a pistol, the AEG parts are kind of wasted anyway...like a MP5K or MP40, there just isn't enough barrel to go for any real power/accuracy. I would think pistol parts would fit easily.
