Maybe I just like the sound of the word "Spandau" (where is THAT band? Probably working a county fair somewhere this weekend...)
I have assembled all manner of documentation of these old warhorses. More popularly known for use on Warbird Biplanes,
there were water-cooled versions also in use. I plan to do up CAD drawings, then actual examples of these, complete with ribbed barrels like the originals.
The plan so far is to make just two, set up like an AA gun pair, complete with a personnel shield and ammo boxes. Instead of fresh looking, these will have a time-worn look. I am going to provide mounting for standard Marui-type M4 internals, but probably won't install them. I just want a very unusual static model for the living room.
