i was looking around and the Marushin Super Enforcer Maxi 8mm its pretty much a carbine at heart. find a stock and see how it fits is my guess, may need mild customizing for a good fit. its just that its gas bolt action the same as the other Marushin carbines. So i was wondering, is there anyway for convert it so its semi auto?? thanks, Kyle

well since your doing airborne, making a wire stock wouldnt be too hard, just extend the barrel and it would look pretty close. -Nick

That is a single shot gun that you have to cock manually every time after shooting it. There is no way to make it semi. Furthermore, it has been shortened so much that there is no point doing any reverse work. If you want a carbine, get the long one version. If you want an automatic (semi or full), get the M2 version (and don't expect too good gaming gun). If you want a para version, do a custom stock on the long versions.

If you really want a carbine and need semi auto get an M2 carbine and perhaps alter it to a para version. (Expensive proposition to do right) Incidently this is not neccessary even with your airborne impression because many Airborne troops had carbines with the conventional stocks) This rifle is 8mm, shoots hard and is fairly reliable for a gas gun. (Kinda like saying for a fat girl she doesn't sweat much) Gas guns are not consistently effective skirmish guns. The non blow back carbine from Marushin is actually a pretty consistent and good gun but as you noted it is not semi automatic.

M1 carbine is really small and slim. Don't let the length fool you. Only thing even remotely possible would be some AEP box.

put a wire stock on it, cover the barrel with a wood handguard and you got yourself a decent Reising.

What about buying the carbine wood furniture and putting those internals into the Carbine stock, intead of trying to convert the one that comes with the gun.

Well I have had the oportunity to use the reall Carbine by Marushin in battle and the fact that its not semi maks no difference, trust me its nothin to fret about. Infact I have an M1928 with a drum mag, but in all the games I have been able to play at this summer I have yet to use my Thompson, instead I use my Springfield against super AEGs and have yet to be caught in a situation where my rate of fire compromised my survivability. Bolt action guns are fully capable to hold there own against AEG.
I say get the gun and stock and dont event worry about it not being semi, becuase ya know what, you will have a Carbine and others wont.

put a wire stock on it, cover the barrel with a wood handguard and you got yourself a decent Reising. Well kinda, but not really, there are quite a few differences between this gun and the M50/55 Reising. Infact I dont think you could convert it at all. Heres the Maxi enforcer Heres an M55 and heres and M50 TommyGunner
