I recently misplaced the battery for my Thompson at an event this month.
I am shopping to replace it and I was hoping to go ahead and maybe improve on what I had.
The original was an 8.4V and was a tight fit in the thompson as it was. It was also 1300 mAh. I don't know exactly what the terms mean. But I was wondering which statistic I can improve without increasing size.

The Mah ratings is like the size of the fuel tank. The more mah the longer the battery will last. Typically a larger Mah battery will not be any bigger it just has more dense cells taking up the same space. You also can drill out the inner plastic shelf inside your Thompson to accomodate a larger sized battery although obviously be carefull when doing so. A spare battery is always a great idea for airsofting as well as a quality charger.
