Hellmutt doesn't miss a beat!!, Barely finished the last one and he's already planning the next one. They get better and better every time, Anyone who can possibly make it should start planning way ahead. Can't wait!!!

Given that the German element is a well trained cohesive unit that playes together as much as twice a week and sometimes more and has been at it about 2 years. I'd say the Americans. In that respect it's actually quite authentic.

It's amazing with the newer less expensive AEGs suddenly available (not WW2 unfortunately) and the spring weather airsoft here in the NW is really taking off. I have a feeling that within the Puget Sound area on any given weekend there are 300 people playing in some form or another. I'll bet the Gothic line game has incredible turnout for a period specific event.

Helmutt does a great job. (This is an unsolicited endorsement by the way) His events represent an incredible value for the money and he puts tremendous mental effort and his vast resources toward making them as good as they can be . We're blessed to live in the Northwest with the likes of Schmitty and Helmutt and Sir Plus Army Navy Store and the local military vehicle club that support our efforts so well.

yeah we really are. We also have a lot of different place to play. Mountains to rainforests to plains. the Northwest isn't really that bad.

This event is now a month away. I know there was some talk about folks driving up for it. I hope that's the case as I'd love to meet the Colorado players and some of you California GIs and Krauts. Helmutt puts on a quality event so I can assure anyone considering it that it'll be worth the trip. (unsolicited endorsement)

2nd bat, I'm getting kinda worried I'm the only person registered so far. For the Carentan game people where pre registered months in advance. I hope there is a good turn out.

Odds of snow in the NW is extremely low. We typically have 2 or 3 days a year with snow due to the ptroximity to the Puget Sound and ocean. Figure on rain however. very appropriate for the Gothic line since the common lament was that sunny Italy wasn't. There's a lit of focus right now on the half life event and the RECONDO school. Once that eases the enrollements for Gothic line will begin in earnest and it will no doubt fill up quickly. The owner of the filed contimnues to make awesome improvements with bunkers, trench lines and fortifications so by Sept it should be even cooler then the exceptionally nice venue it is now.
