Its over a weekend, and missing one day of school won't hurt. Now you have more time to get your impression ready!

the 16 and 17 are a weekend, I'm not sure maybe John(2nd Bat) can confirm, but people might stay the night on the 15.

Well at my school at least an excused absence marks it off so it isnt really an absence.
*Plus when you get older you ARE going to fake being sick so why not start early?

I wish I was, it can't work for me, cuz traveling wouldn't work with school revolving around it. But you'll see me at the bulge this year!

I will be returning from two weeks of Habitat for Humanity Home building in New orleans just in time to participate. I can't wait and am looking forward to serving as US Force Commander Capt. John Robison US Army (ret.) Though not really a Colonel I'll get to play one at this event! I like skipping 3 grades.
The instruction, theatrics and skills application will be outstanding I'm sure, based on past WW2 events by Helmutt and the recent RECONDO school which was an absolute home run for airsoft.

The event is this weekend. It appears that the turnout in full impression regalia will be somewhere around 40 folks. There will be several vehicles. A vintage 37mm AT gun and Ranger Warrens masterful explosion simulators which always makes for cool effects. There is room for a few additional US players and loaner impressions available. German is of course compeletely filled. The weather is calling for light drizzle which is completely appropo for this operation. "sunny Italy" wasn't.

Just got back and have to say it was another excellent event. Schmitty, Helmutt and RANGER Warren did a great job as did the entire Battlesim OPFOR Kraut contingent. The real gun drills on the 37mm gun followed by it actual tactical deployment against the German bunkers rocked as did the special blast effects and impressions. Great job.

That blast on the bunker was so loud, it made my ears ring for a few minutes, but it was freakn' cool.

Wow, You got those up quickly! When I get my car unloaded and find my camera I'll down load my pictures. I don't know how good they are but I have action shots of the 37mm tactical gun deployment against the bunker. Did anyone get good pictures of the mortar attacks? I missed the impact simulators (but I could sure hear them) cause I was back with the gun crew monitoring the call for fire by the FO
