I'm still here, life has just been busy as hell with one thing after another you know? As far as WWII, I've only got period guns right now. So far I've got a upgraded Tanaka Mauser, a custom pimped-out-way-to-much 1911A1, and I also have a custom open bolt GBB Thompson being made in Japan right now. In retrospect I probably should have used some more of the money for the guns on an impression. However, on another note, for those of you who can make it to the the east bay (namely Livermore or castro valley) we can probably get together and meet up. I have a group that I run and we do free games on private land every month. Next time we get an event I'll post up about it if anyone is interested.

Thanks. Keep us informed on when the next game will be and I'll try and organize everyone to come up. July 1st there'll be an antiques fair in Oakland that usually has some good period stuff, and a couple dedicated militaria vendors. I'll be going, so if anyone else is interested sound off, and we'll all make a trip up.

Have you ever heard of Alameda Airsoft? It's a group me and one of my friends started about 2 years ago. Basically we were tired of going to pay fields and having a applesauce ty time so we started this thing up and got a buch of people interested. We used to play in Fremont but we got booted cause some old lady was being a bitch. So now we have a few guys who have some places in Livermore that we can play and we have one member who has about 400 acres in Castro Valley for when we have big games. How close to livermore are you though, silencer?
I really wish I could go on the 1st, but right now I cant say one way or the other.
BTW, G4B, were you able to get on the forums? I know there isnt much as far as wwii on there, but if we have more people interested, I really think it could take off.

Yeah I got on alright. Doesn't look like there's any games scheduled so far that I'll be able to attend, but as more are posted for July, I'm sure we cna find something that works out and arrange for all of us to show up and make a good wwii showing.

Sorry, my bad. It's alamedaairsoft.proboards60.comHowever, I locked the boards due to some "unsavory" characters getting on and showing up at random and ruining our games . I'll need your email, screen name, bday, and all that so I can set up an account for you. Also, check alamedaairsoft.tripod.comWe are in the process of updating that site, so if it looks a little wonky, I apologize, it'll be updated and better looking soon. I cant do applesauce with HTML

wow that looks amazing. Livermore is actually just about 15 minutes away from my house. Of course it depends on traffic and where in livermore but it is close.
What are your restrictions on players? Like do you guys have minimum age or anything like that.

riseandfall, your account is all set up and ready to go.
silencer, in CV the field ios right off the freeway in the hills right before you actually get to CV and for Livermore the fields are pretty much scattered out by tesla and mines roads. For the player cap, the guy who organizes the events in Livermore likes to keep it kinda small (like 20 guys max i think) but for when we do bigger admin organized games in CV we've had as many as 150 people. Last time that happened we had elements from Ronin, BATS, TF20 (I think), some classic airsoft guys (myself included hehe), RemAir, and a few other people with the rest being from Alameda. It was a pretty damn big game. I'll see if we can get a small laid back game going soon at CV or something so we can all try and get together.
