The forests and weather of the Northwest should do a great job of simulating the Hutegan Forest. This should be a great event. It'll be nice having another big WW2 event before the annual Long Winter game. I'm sure the weather will be wet but it won't be bitter cold like last years Long Winter game. If it ain't raining we ain't training.
One of the grwat things about the Hutegan forest as a battle event is that uniforms were very much transitional so just about anything from WW2 should work. M-41s with leggings or M43s and double buckles. Overcoats, Mackinaws or rain coats and wool will be plenty comfy as well.
Hopefully I'll have some extra Garands made up as I'm getting caught up on orders. I'll have the 30s and a BAR done as well I'm sure. Hope to see alot of folks there.

Nov 11th is Veterans day weekend. I will be at Hac Bao and the local Military vehicle club will be very involved at the Auburn Parade which is the largest Veterans Day parade on this coast. Consequently they would be unable to provide the usual support.

The parade is on the 10th not the 11th.

I must say the general Battlesim impressions have really really improved as have the props obviously! Yiou guys are looking great. Josh is over reacting to the recoil typically experienced with a carbine but other then that...Outstanding video.
