I would like to get a ruff headcount for all that are interested in attending a WW2 Airsoft scrimmage early next month in Schoharie NY. Please do not post ‘interest’ if you have no means or no intention of attending.
The game will be basic as we will not have any WW2 vehicles or artillery pieces. The scenario will also be very basic.
Note to all:
The point of the Scrimmage will be to determine how many players are interested enough to travel and are not too far away to travel. It will also be an indicator for us to see how many German and American groups there are. Furthermore, depending on the turnout; we will hence plan an actual WW2 Airsoft scenario event.
Thank you all for your time.

I also wanted to add that we already have 4-5 Fallschirmjäger with one MG-42 on a tripod for this event if it takes off. Again thank you all for your time.

Would you be willing to drive that long for an amphibious invasion?

It is looking like the American WWII Airsoft guys are going to be a no show. Perhaps we can come out to meet them? Is anyone interested in hosting a scrimmage/ Small WW2 game in a 2-4 hours radius of Albany NY? I think we can muster four Fallschirmjäger for traveling. Maybe five.

That all depends if this amphibious landing scenario works out. If we set it up according to plan, then I think It will be well worth the drive.

Are there no Allied Teams in the Northeast that are willing to throw a small game together? Our 3rd Fallschirmjäger unit is really in need of some trigger-time in the WW2 era scene.
I am pretty sure I can muster 4-5 guys for a trip within the 2-4 hour radius of Albany NY.

we have games all the time, and we invited you to many of them.
Right now we are preparing for the huge memorial day gig, (no krauts in the parade, sorry USA only) and Vietnam season is kicking off, inwich all of us are heavily involved. So we are unsure of the next ww2 date at this time.

We were not interested in the modern mix. Also, our team just wasn't on its feet just yet. Now we are and I would hate to wait many months to get in a ww2 game.

Well the midwest is always WW2, but youll have to make the drive...If Gordak can I dont see how noone else cant. Franz I suppose we can as well. But it would have to be for more than just a scrimmage. An event seems more likely. Where exactly in the Mid-West and how many troops? An address would be very helpful. That way I can see how many miles and how long of a trip my guys and I would have to plan for. For a bigger event I’d bet we can get at least half of the thirteen guys in my unit. Also, we have access to a WW2 British Bren Gun APC that we can rent for a day or two. But only on the stipulation that the event is big enough to bring it and the field is large enough to use it. Again, I am probably being a pain in the butt to a lot of you guys… however, I’m new to the WW2 theme and don’t have a lot of contacts or knowledge of fields or events nearby. What I do have is access to a lot of resources and manpower. I really look forward to meeting some WW2 units in the near future; hopefully by next month at some point. A few of my guys just got the rest of their uniforms in this month. Just to put it into context how new we are to the WW2 theme. (We have been modern day Airsofters for 4-5 years now and have a modern German airborne unit of 40 guys.) If anyone wishes to contact me via phone- shoot me a PM and I’ll give you my cell number! Thanks for any help and all them help. It is much appreciated.
