Hey folks. You have a cool thing going here. My brother and I are both pretty intense history and (wwII) military buffs, and are zealous in our pursuit of anyone who shares the enthusiasm. I am nearly 18 and my little bro 16, and our range of playing will vary in sync with our mother's protective tendencies, but I may be able to convince her of a Wisconsin game. I saw a couple of propositions for such games, but couldn't tell if they saw realization or not. Anyone out there near the Twin Cities or MN border (or nearby who would be willing to lollipops out a long haul in my direction) that would like to play? We are Allied players, and could fit into any loosely-restrictive squad who would be willing to have a ranger and a paratrooper along. (Our equipment is scrupulously accurate.)
Hope to hear from someone! And smash those Krauts!
Michael

Hey 2nd. I'm in the Chaska/Chanhassen/Eden Prairie area. I will soon be a legal adult, and my brother is 16. I'd love to get hooked up with an association, if it's at all possible. Where and when do you guys play? My brother is an Army infantryman and would fit into one of your units, and I am a paratrooper. We have immaculately detailed gear. (Can't remember how much of this I said in my original message.)
This is very exciting! Hope to hear from you soon.

www.mnairsoft.org is a good site. Also there's a WWII-themed scenario coming up in June in Fargo which is right on the Minnesota-North Dakota border. It's run by a group called Fargo-Moorehead Airsoft, here's their site www.fmairsoft.comI'm from Grand Forks so I usually attend their big events.

Hey fellas! Just found this board today and signed on. I'm in Anoka, MN and am a German WWII reenactor. If you want to see and maybe even shoot some WWII firearms, come over for a visit. Check out my website. I was thinking about joining the airsoft crowd for added fun and perhaps buying an airsoft MP-40. I own an original full auto MG-42, an MP-40, and several k98 rifles in my collection and like to share these great collectables with other history enthusiasts. I go to the local gun range every so often for some blasting fun with friends. PM me if you want to visit and see a nice historical collection.

Hello, I'm in Minneapolis and also interested in giving ww2 airsoft a try. I've been an ACW reenactor for years (very hardcore stich counting types), and also did a brief stint in WWI reenacting. At this point I am putting together a heer impression and am looking for something more tactics and action oriented. I'm sick of sitting around at "living history" events where nothing happens. My new MP40 is arriving on Tuesday Drop me a line at tslayards@gmail.com if you'd be interested in collaberating.

Well, I figure I better let you guys know, I planning on moving back to the US next summer. Not sure where I'll end up but there is a distinct possibility that I will end up just south of the Twin Cities. Pretty sweet, huh? Udo, looks like it is possible that we could have that beer after all Click

Well I believe all of us ostfront guys are just as excited, we like seeing old faces, but we love seeing new faces too. If you do a German impression you are more the welcome to join up. If you a Russian impression then you should sell it and put together a German one. I kid of course, but anyway what impression(s) do you have?

All I have for WW2 is a basic Brit impression (no gun though *cry* ). But I will probably wind up selling all my WW2 stuff (trust me, it aint that much) before I go back just so that I will be able to have some extra dough to do what others in the area are doing. Plus airlines are getting stupid concerning how much baggage people can carry and since I will be moving, I will need to carry other stuff that may be *gasp* more important than my WW2 gear . Click

so have you picked up at accent while you were away. What impression do you plan on doing US or German. Nope, no accent . I still talk 'gud amerikin' . I am not sure what I will do. I really like the look of German gear. But US gear is slightly cheaper. But like I said, it will most likely be the same as those around me. That is, if i am around long enough to get a decent impression together. I plan on joining the marines (actually going to boot camp) about 8 months after I land there. So I am not yet sure. Click

The Russian impression is very cost effective and I'm sure Gryphon or Ba64 would help you figure it out. Carrying a ppsh is a pretty good thing too. And... they have their armored car.

Germans are definatly have cool looking equipment. I think you could get a pretty good SS Impression at a low cost. When you say "I plan on joining the marines (actually going to boot camp) " Your joining the real Marines and what do you mean by" about 8 months after I land there" 8 monthes after you land where?
