Get the M-14 first. Removing the rail system on the AGM M-14s is a one screw process hence very very easy. Drilling out the stock for a full sized battery is fairly easy as well. The neck area for the motor and the trigger arrangement is the real challenge and I still suspect it will be months or probably a year before anyone has one close to done. I hope my cynicism is proven wrong. My prediction is projects started, money spent (lots of money) huge amounts of time and lots of frustrations. A machine shop and woodworking tools is very promising however.
Good luck everyone. Keep us posted.

sure thing, though i have allot to sell before I can get everything. And if worse comes to worse I'll just Use an M14 AEG stock. Yeah, my connection to a machine shop... for lack of better works that are appropriate... He's being a jerk. don't get me started, it's allot of long stories... i just expected that someone I've lived with for 2 years would be nicer about helping me out when I've helped him out countless times.... anyways. Yeah getting that hole for the motor seems tricky because it's at a weird angle. why months or years before anyone has anything done? I want to get most of the stock done this weekend. ha ha. .... The motor's no wider than a typical AEG motor. The stock grip is the same angle as the M14 one right? So everything should align properly? My only beef is with the trigger housing/floor plate. Because of the bottom of the stock... I've though of a few things so that from the side with the mag out it looks like it's a regular Garand. That's my goal. Other than a few random pictures to go off of I an trying to invision what i'll have to do... though getting an M14 in my hands will be much better I figure I might as well mentally prepare myself. ha ha. Does anyone have any good pictures of a V7 and/or the inside of an M14 stock? All I've looked at is a GnG m14 manual. I'll share the link because it has allot of useful info on allot of guns. www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=23977
