I'm trying to fix my Garand and i'm trying to figure out what's the use of everything. And this part is a mystery so far. Do you have any idea where to find a Garand Hop up joint ? Mine is broken. I think i broke the 2 part n#127 is it a real problem ? (what kind of problem is it actually ?) Thanks for your help guys !

hmmmmm Good questions, but you need to re post the images. (link doesn't work) I'm also interested in finding the hop-up on this gun....

hello
This little pin , which is pushed back by the Blowback cylinder and forth by the bolt, is a simple valve to release the ait trapped in the blowbackcylinder . When you pull the trigger the hammer hits the shooting valve first and second the blowbackvalve ( the little pin in your pic is pushed forward by the bolt) when it hits the blowbackvalve gas or air flows into the cylinder and moves it back, disengaing the blowbackvalve and pushing the little pin back so that it can travel back in bolt closed position ( while doing this it does some more things, but this is not very much conected to the pin)
