I have one of the older models on the way to my house as we speak. $225 for the gun (old version) and 2 extra magazines.
I'm very glad I decided not to buy the new marushin m1 carbine.

Perhaps a little off topic but what happened to the GBB MP40 that Marushin was to release with the new M1 Carbine? I saw picutures and read about it in COMBAT magazine I think, but I have heard nothing since.

Never fear, Guinness your news hound is here ;D Spied on LA Gunshop- www.la-gunshop.com/MP40 'Matte' MP40 'Vintage' It appears that rather than marketing the 'vintage' model as a worn and used WWII German Army weapon, they are instead showing it as a "1945" Israeli (?) piece? Interesting approach- I know that the Israeli Army used a lot of ex-German equipment in the early days against Egypt. The Marushin site also has the MP40 up, so it will be available shortly I'm sure.

The Israelis didn't only fight Egypt they fought pretty much everyone that was Arabic and some English officers.
But what a werid way to approach it, Not as a EVIL Nazi gun but a freedom fighting Jewish weapon? It is what it is a German made weapon during WWII.

The Israelis used every weapon they could get their hands on early in '48 , and they didn't care where the weapons came from , they had MP40s, MG34s, K98 , P38 , a few P08s , the Isreali air force started out with a few surplus fighters wich included ME109s and Spitfires. I own a WWII German flare pistol that has Waffenampts complete with the eagle and swastika , and an Israeli star of david stamped next to each other , marking both service in the German and Israeli armed forces.

Thanks for the link Guiness, the information on the MP40 says it will be released on November 9th, and the vintage model will be released in mid-November. Sweet!
