It was discussed briefly in the M1 Carbine thread...but I just checked Den Trinity's site and they are in stock for $225. I plan on buying one with my next pay check. ;D

I don't really see a reason to buy one. the AGM mp40's are a darn good gun for the money. But to each his own.

He could be a fan of Gas Blow Back weapons. I know a lot of guys that don't really care about the preformance, but love the sound of the gas powered rifles, and the look of the moving bolt. If only gas weapons were as reliable and skirmishable as AEG's.

Having seen Marushin's products, I think it's quite safe to say that it won't last too long. In the end you have a sort of nice looking toy-MP40 that doesn't shoot anything. Or maybe I'm just too pessimistic.

I think if its anything like the new line of carbines...it won't be that great. Hopefully this one will give me a suprise and be good.

I've tried getting back "into" AEGs since I sold off my GBB MP44, and they are pretty "lame". A little extra thud and recoil is well worth it for me. The "coolness" factor sky rockets in my opinion.

It's all a matter of personal preference. For airsoft I prefer something thats cheaper and more reliable. I get my kicks for realism blank-fire and reenacting. Hopefully you'll get the new 8mm gbb sometime soon and write up a review for us.

I actually also plan on getting one of these, because Ive always been a fan of MP40s, and I sold my AGM MP40, and I really want another one, but that GBB one looks really REALLY cool!! so I think I might settle on one of those. Im just hoping it wont break on me, and Ive heard some bad stories about Marushin, so im still a little iffy about it.

I'm under the impression it's made using the same machinery as the PFC guns and the Marushin/Asahi MP40s. Perhaps a little creaky, but it doesn't necessarily mean the quality is going to be low.

As a multiple Marushin owner, bear in mind that this gun will be way cool, but probably not a skirmish warrior- more of a collector piece most likely I'll be waiting for the inevitable clone in metal

To be honest, the biggest reason I ever got into airsoft in the first place was I live in a state where you can't own real MGs...

It was rumored that an all metal GBB MP40 was going to be released by Shoei, but with my little pow-wow with Tomio he said that because of the AGM MP40s and the Marushin GBB one that was being expected it's not on the drawing board anymore. I think this is pretty much it unless the Chinese make a copy. *Indy- I wanted to quote ya and ended up modifying and messing the original all up- sorry! I put it back as best I could yikes!

Well it looks good shooting at a piece of paper that's just a few feet away. I wonder how its real performance is?
