They wore Fliegerbluse with white collar tabs , as far as camo they where issued the same camo as the Waffen SS when the division was formed and I believe they kept on using Blured edge camo , but I'm not too sure about that. Their insignia was really peculiar too , it was a white star similar to the ones that allied vehicles had , but the Herman Goring vehicle marking was smaller.

Even thoug they have the Fallschirm designation , they where not jump qualified.

I'm going to try a radical suggestion here. www.google.comthen type in "1st Paratroop Panzer Division Hermann Goering" And you get quite a few pics... I'd also recommend the osprey title on HG before you dive in to a new impression to get an overview. |
