Gotcha! My dilemma has to due with a spare battery I have that has a large Molex connector and all my AEG's use the small version Molex connector. I want to purchase a size/gender changer to allow the battery to be used in my AEG's.
My memory is fuzzy on how determine what constitutes Male vs. Female. I was told conflicting ways to determine gender. By convention I would assume that the AEG's have small female connectors and the mating batteries should have small male connectors.
The spare battery would then have a large male connector. Then the appropriate adaptor would be "Large Female to Small Male Adaptor"...Am I wrong in my determination? If someone with the knowledge would state the solution to this battery conundrum or know of a reference source for such information, I would be most grateful. I've already lost one night's sleep, I don't plan on going for two.
Thanking You In Advance

Battery's have female connectors. The guns have male connectors. The reference to male and female should be quite obvious as male connectors have a part that protrudes from it while female connectors have a hole the male part goes into. So to plug a large tamiya type connector battery into a mini type connector on an AEG you will need an adapter with a large male on one end and a small female on the other.
Better still replace all your connectors on everything (guns, batteries, chargers ) with deans connectors. They work much better than tamiya connectors (the type that AEG's come with)
