o.k this may be a dumb question and don't be getting all over me about this but is there any way to modify the Thompson stock to be a little shorter by a little i mean about 1 inch?i am asking this because i have a non- WW2 impression and just want to play in BDUs since it is going to be hot out and the vest has a shoulder pad type of thing and it gets annoying. i am used to the gun's stock but sometimes it gets a little annoying. any help appreciated.

Assuming you have a Marui Thompson or a Clone with a plastic stock then No. There is no way to easily modify the stock without having it end up looking real bad. The best option I can think of is to completely remove the stock, That would actually be somewhat accurate as Tankers (and others) often took the stock off. You would then have to run the battery in a separate sling bag or elsewhere.
