Here are som pictures of my new Dboys 98K, with a real steel German WW2 stock, bayonet lug, cleaning rod and front sling attachment. I only had to remove a little wood and it then screwed it back together. I sprayed painted the cocking handle matt black and then I used very fine grain sanding paper and a brillo to make the whole gun look more realistic in wear. Finished it of with a cloth with gun oil Now it looks VERY realistic, and could easily ble mistaken for the real deal ;D

Very well done!!! I just sanded mine down and will be re-staining it this week. Though, It won't be as well done as this one!
Hey, if you want to scrim with this gun, see my post on the other D-boy thread. You need to mod the Bolt to get some higher FPS and better Air flow! That is all.
Again, Well done! Dang!!! Beautiful!

holyorangejuice: These Mauser stocks are pretty common here in Norway, gunsmiths have converted German 98ks to hunting rifles with replacement stocks for decades so there are a lots of them. Metal parts often come with these stocks and the price for a stock is around $60-$70 in US currency
Thanks again for the commets

I have seen all matching stocks and metal parts from Norway, but without barrel and receiver go on eBay for $150-200.
