Does any one have a guide or good instructions for moving the JG Bar internals into a dboys 98K, there are a few threads on here but none seem to be instructions just guys showing that they have done it (with tanaka's and marushin kar's), i can probably figure it out but any help would be appreciated.

This is what i've done so far, still working on it, anyone got any tips on how to use the original bolt handle without to much trouble? and i can't get the mag to sit flush, it sits inside and is real hard to remove so any help with that to would be great, not the best photo

That looks like a great start. Actually you are almost finished and it looks great. You can cut finger slots on each side of the mag well that will allow you to get your fingers in there and pull out the mag. You can buy a bolt handle blank you would then need to use a die and thread it and heat and bend it. You then need to cut off the BAR-10 handle and drill and tap it to match. epoxy in place and voila.

Thanks CharleyNovember yeah thats pretty much how i thought i would have to do the bolt handle, i have cut finger holes but its still to deep set to pull out, i was thinking maybe a leather tab and velcro so it covers the whole mag, unvelcro and pull down to remove the mag.

Wasn't going to do any work on it tonight, but once i started couldn't stop, is all but done, still have some work to do but nothing major, it works and i'm happy with it, photos aren't the best and are all done with macro so show up defects that don't stand out so bad on the real thing,... here is is and some close ups Don't be to harsh, this is my first ever atempt at doing something like this.
