What I like best about the new photo section, is that you used pictures that everyone had taken, even the ones I have on the Ranger site and paintball blitz site.

great pics I will find them very useful in putting together my impression I know that you guys look on me as not being up to snuff but I try and look the best I can and your pics will really help. i10.photobucket.com/albums/a102/ww2aa/Beginning%20OLD%20PICTS/throw.jpgIs the camo pattern in this picture accurate for the time period because I just saw some ponchos in that pattern. They are cheap and may be able to be used as a Zeltbahn.

Thats an army (Heer) Tan water pattern smock, a later war item, usually issued to elite and sniper units. YES it looks like bundeswher border gaurd cammo, its actually alot darker, but otherwise very similar. id just spend the $125 on the smock, I know its alot, but you can wear it over anything all year long. In the winter I even use it in my modern stuff, be cause its an alreound excellent snow cammo item. Here is a pict of a REAL one being worn by a german sniper! -Gordak
