WOW! What an amazing job. I just have one question How did you do it? It the receiver wood? I am speechless. good thing i hav a real steel to compare it with, d receiver is not wood, it is as hard as steel coz i covered d wood with polituff, d kind of polyester hardener filler that are used on some dents for cars and d like, after some sanding, i used flat black paint, i didnt sand it dat well coz im planning to give it a weathered look anyway (hence the rough edges). a good sander can do the job perfectly so it can look brand new. you might not believe the actual cost here, but here it is (in US dollars): strong wood for the sides - $10 new holes for the ejector made by a machine shop - $15 polituff - $4.5 flat black paint - $3.5 sand paper - $1.5 approximately 5 hours on polituffing, sanding, painting (drying and waiting time not included) the foregrip was also hand made from ordinary wood by a local carpenter.
