Read a review on it in PC Gamer, said it was real clunky and slow, the graphics are mediocre.

it's a true wargame, less fancy graphics and more realism,
HUGE maps, realistic use of weapons. a MG42 can open fire at 1500 meters. AT guns have a range of 2km ect.
only thing is that it was made for easternfornt, so the Garand is bolt action, us airborne use BAR and not .30cal.
it's still a very good game, much better and realistic then COH,
they are in the prosses of making a second game set in north africa, with much better graphics.

I've had a chance to play a few hours of ToW and I like it. It does have issues with laggy graphics even though my machine should run them smoothly. I figure it's something to do with the programming. The graphics aren't the best but, as gunfreak pointed out, the realism makes up for that.
