One important process before gunblueing is paint-removing. There are a few tools to remove paint - sand paper, thinner, sand blasting etc. The easiest way is to use a paint-remover. After removing the paint, polish carefully the surface with coarse and fine sand papers. Don't forget to remove foreign materials such as oil from the surface using alcohol. Apply the gunblue solution over the clean surface by brushing or spraying. The easiest way is to soak it in the solution. This is the picture of Artarms, the gunblue solution of the Korean product. When the gunblue solution reacts with metal, the metal color turns to dark iron color. Then wipe it out with clean clothes and apply the next coat. Repeat the process 3-5 times until the metal does not react any more. Then finish it by applying oil on it. Weathering is to remove surfaces of corners or those to be frequently touched by hands with fine sand paper. You need some practicing to be skillful. I am afraid I don' have any pictures of the process. But I will post them up later. Tim.

More beautiful work!
KEP, I think that refers to gunbluing for real-steel guns- Artarms Strong Gun Blue spray is made specifically for modelguns and airsoft replicas.
Slainte!
