Hey guys I am writing an Indiana Jones script called Indiana Jones and the Lance of Golgotha. Well I noticed that most of the Indiana Jones start with him on a different adventure so I wanted mine to start the same. The problem is I can't think of an artifact for him to be after. I don't want it to be anything big. Anyways the Movie starts like this (The Indiana Jones Logo appears. Screen fades to Indiana Jones marching through a Nazi building in a German uniform. After walking through the building he enters a room. After he enters a German officer turns around in his chair. Indiana Jones tips his hat up). German Officer: Indiana Jones. (Indiana Jones pulls out his pistol) Indiana Jones: You know what I am here. (German Officer smiles) German Officer: Yes I know very well why you’re here. (Indiana Jones slams the pistol on the table) Indiana Jones: Get it! (The German officer walks to a metal cabinet unlocks a draw and takes out the So basicly it has to be small enough to fit in a fileing cabinent. The artifact can't be too far away from France which is where indy is in this first scene. So if you have any good ideas I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks

Does it have to be a real life artifact? because im sure you could just make one up.

I'd rather it be real but if I can find nothing else I'll just make one up.

maybe a crown or something of that nature from a king or member of a Royal family in the middle ages. Maybe a sword.

How about the Crown of Thorns that Jesus wore. The Nazis could have thought it gave them magical powers, like that Ark or the Holy Grail.

I think the Crown of Thorns is too big of an ordeal. Altough it does fit in somewhat with the Lance of Golgotha. I'll think about it and thanks for the idea.

Maybe original footage of the Patterson-Grimlin film from the 1960's sent back in time for somereason, or the rock that killed Goliath.

How about the Crown of Thorns let you time travel while wearing it and it could be stored in a small box. I like the idea about the spear head they used to stab Jesus.

Apparently the center piece of the "spear of destiny" or lance of Golghata IS one of the crucifixion nails..Those holy artifact guys liked to cover all bases. :-)
A vial of blood from a Saint that grants whoever drinks it eternal life..? The nazi drinking it (only a nazi would drink a vial of blood..) should burst into flames after drinking it..!

That is the Lance of Golgotha.
Hmmm intresting I'll have to think about this a bit more.
Also a good Idea. However I think wearing it would kinda hurt lol

The piece of material David cut from Sauls robe? The bottle that contained the frankincense that was given by the Magi? I would think that any substance that was know to give eternal life would have been consumed a00lready in the past 1900 years before. How about the ring of King Xerxes the one that he gave to Haman which gave him the power to exterminate all Hebrews throughout the empire (the book of Esther). That would be kind of symbolic seeing as how the Nazis had a similar plan. Click

How about a missing piece (I don't know if it is missing a piece) of the Shroud of Turin?

How about the shaft that when you look at it you become healed. I forgot where in the Bible it is but there was one part where these people were in the desert and snakes started to attack them. God told them, or someone in the crowd, when they are bitten by the snakes they look up at the shaft and they would be healed. Thats why hospitals have a seal with a snake around a shaft.
You could make the Crown of Thorns with the thorns not pointing inward at the person's head.

Because the religous stuff holds the secret powers lol j/k. But yes it doesn't have to be a religous item. About the viel of Veronica we already have that one but I guess we could say the Germans stole it.
