LOL, not to excuse Tommygunner's behavior but having to deal with late orders and such I can see what happened to him. The big mistake he made was not responding, being late ticks people off but responding just makes it worse. He probably thought oh I'll just work really hard and get them all done by this date so his mind could ease from answering heated emails but it just never works that way. Don't worry though I couldn't hide from this forum, I need it to live. ;D

If any of your buyers back out due to you being slow, just let me know. I'll be happy to take the wood Kar98 off your hands.

I like the way you make the K98, Jeremiah never got the bolts right. Yes I think it really adds a lot to the overall authenticity although it it a pain to do.

You should probably edit the listed price in the OP. and I don't think $10 is going to be a deal-breaker

Bump Price goes up again to $300. Why? I have decided to upgrade future rifles with a Laylax sear. I have had trouble with the stock BAR-10 internals recently and in the past. So I decided everyone would be much better off with this small upgrade. Its better then the gun breaking down and then you have to install it yourself in my opinion.

Sorry but I am not taking orders anymore! I am booked until September with Kar98 orders. After I finish the last orders in September I'll start selling Lee Enfields.

Hey, Im new here, stumbled across this website yesterday while looking for a skirmishable Mauser 98. The tanaka one just dosent seem worth it (never been much for gas rifles). Anyway, I was wondering if I contacted you again sometime around January 2011, Do you think we could work something Out for one of those? They look really nice and it looks like you put a lot of effort into getting the details right. Also, if your available and we could work something out, How much would one with a wood stock and a Tightbore barrel cost? Thanks, Zac

Hey with a wood stock and tight bore barrel it would cost around $400. I am pretty sure I could make a rifle for you by 2011.

Well thanks, But 400$ is a bit pricey for me. So I think that the imitation wood stock sounds a bit better I was hoping to spend 400$ total (shipping BBs ect..) so according to the first post that would cost about 330$? If Im correct and the information is still accurate. Anyway, Lets say I get you the funds sometime early January 2011, do you think it would be possible that i could recieve the rifle by the end of March? Im sure we will have to wait a bit and see how busy you are then and how many orders you have to fill, but does that seem like a reasonable timeframe? Also the picture with the unjamming rod, allen key, bbs, 2 mags and speed loader, is that what comes with the gun or is that the extra stuff you can sell people? Thanks again, Zac

Yes the gun comes with all that is in the picture. Yea the imitation wood is $60 less so $330 total plus like $12 for shipping. I might be able to do it in two months. I have been really slow on my past orders but my build time seems to be getting a bit better after each build. By the end of the summer I'll have my Kar98 run completed and give you an estimate on how long I think it will take.

I don't think a real scope would work. I know the BAR-10 mounts work though.

So the Bar 10 scope rail mount base would still work and it would give you a standard 20mm Rail to mount any optics on? And how much more (if you have any) would it cost to throw one of those in with the gun? And also Looked at the website you put up (Really nice & proffessional by the way), and saw something about wood& metal finishes and FPS, Im assumming the wood finishes are just for the real wood stock, but what about the metal finishes and FPS? Do they cost extra? Thanks, Zac

If you want the scope rail its free with the rifle.
I am not doing the different metal finishes anymore, just doing a standard "real bluing" finish. The only metal part that won't be blued is the receiver and rear sight portion as there is glue on those parts and bluing doesn't work on glue. The wood finishes are for the plastic stock as well as the wood. The FPS choices are only for the Recruit addition. The other editions have a single FPS choice.
Check out my site again I updated it.

Awsome, Ive always liked the looked of blued metal anyway. As for the additions, What are the prices? Im assuming the Recruit addition is the Same but What about the others, Im pretty intrested in the sniper version (and the VSR10 one Too!). Boy, I cant wait till I get my hands on one of these! Oh, and thanks about the scope rail, That ought to come in handy.

Sgttom- So when does your list start for Lee Enfields? What gun are you using as a base? Will you have several options to choose from, like your Kar?
Sorry for all the questions, just looking for a new rifle to use with my Volkssturm impression.

I thought I'd start the list for Lee Enfields/Springfields depending which one I do when I make them and get pictures. The base gun is going to be a JG BAR-10 or TM VSR-10 and yea there will be the same choices as with the Kar98. Why are you getting an Enfield for a German impression though? Sorry for the Kar98s being outta stock but I just got to many orders to handle more.
