Hi it's sarge12 I was wondering if it is possible to fit the AGM M14 into a reel steel M1 Garand stock. If you need to send me pictures of how to get the gun in please send a PM.

i did it you just need to work slowly it took me 1 1/2 days pics coming soon its very hard to do and unless you have lots of experience working with wood you shouldn't attempt it

Please share your pictures as this has been something of the holly grail for Garand conversions and while I realize there is some variation in stock thickness from one Garand stock to another, the wood walls through the neck have to be thin as paper and the fit has to be just plain weird.

i gave the pics to sgttom to post for me i cant get it to work and im going to reanforce it with jb weld and metal bands

I ruined several stocks attempting it and was unhappy with the end result of the one I did. The size and shapes are just not compatible as near as I could manage it.
