I can't find ANY GROM gear anywhere. Any suggestions? I saw some GROM stuff on ebay recently. Do a search for "Polish Army" that's where I usually find stuff.

Are there any more interested Germans out there? I suspect that we need a wee bit more than 11 men fighting on the Wehrmacht side! Otherwise it will be a relatively defensive and uphill battle I suspect.
Important!
For those who are coming, please inform me via PM if you are coming as German Fallschirmjager, Heer, SS or a grief trooper etc. I need your impression (FJ, Heer,SS etc), your name and your impressions rank. Thank you in advance guys.

I'm super psyched for this event, I know im new but I look forward to going out and seeing what I can do, As well as be able to put faces to the names i've heard about. As the time gets closer I get more excited and look forward to seeing everyone out there.

Those going as NATO can walk-on and sign in? Or must they also register?

Those going as NATO can walk-on and sign in? Or must they also register? I'm only taking a head count of the WWII guys going so that we can organize and prep for the event. That means, weapons, Zugs etc. As far as those going as NATO... they are walk-on as far as I know. In any event, this is a scrimmage more or less. Everyone is technically just walking on. So... hope that answers you question.

People are extremely lazy in sharing information. Especially when it comes to registering for events. It is about two weeks out. So you will maybe see a few more sign up. Personally, I want to make the Grief troops wear zeltban's for cammo. I think that would rather look ok. Anyone else want to comment on that?

I have a Tanaka 98k with a zf41 scope but no German impression so I guess I'll have to go modern if I attend! Even at that I'm not sure because modern wise I've got a G&G AK-47, A ChiCom AK chest rig, and other assorted ChiCom gear with some old ERDL BDUs. Not exactly NATO material.

Honestly Bob, I don’t think any of us are really into the Grief trooper thing. However, it is simply to get some more WW2 Airsofter’s out for a day of fun. It might even help with our recruitment drive. It wouldn’t be fair to the poor yanks, if our (The Wehrmacht)numbers started swelling and theirs didn’t; all because we went out and shot the heck out of all the modern Airsofter’s with our mid to low capacity magazines and stock guns. LOL. Just saying we need a few yanks there for interest! What would be really nice is if we could get the yanks to bring Ed and his mortars. A .30 caliber machine gun never hurts either. Well… at least not this time as I’m not on the receiving end of it.

I have a lot of gear to lend out,GI and German if anyone needs it. Uniforms are medium size. I have 2 extra Thompsons, TM and Cyber,an MP-40. Full GI and German kits head to toe. All top of the line uniforms and gear, mostly original stuff.
I'm willing to lend some stuff out to get more bodies on the field and promote WW2 AS.

Over on the Ground Zero Airsoft forums, Jolly Green said:
He believes that this game might be the largest they have had. He leads us to believe that there might be 30 players on only one side.
Now, I’m rather certain we do not have 30 German WW2 Airsofters. That means already there is going to be upward of forty to fifty people at this game. So far the Wehrmacht have only mustered up about 15 troops. So with an approximate 30 NATO troops that puts us at 2 to 1 odds.
So gentlemen, bring extra batteries, plenty of ammo and plenty of magazines. I’m not sure we can expect any more reinforcements….
