I received in the mail today the DVD copies of 2 awesome Japanese movies and just finished watching both of them , again awesome movies.
The first one i watched was
Otoko Tachi No Yamato great movie about the Battleship Yamato and it's last suicide mission , special effects are great and a great story.
The second one was
ORE wa KIMI no tameni koso, shini ni iku This one is the story of a Kamikaze pilot . Again a great movie with a great story , the Japanese actually used real restored fighters like Tony's , Oscar's and Zero's . The last battle scene where they go on their Kamikaze mission is awesome.
I just wish i spoke more Japanese since i ordered straight from Japan and my limited skills on Japanese didn't let me get all of the dialogue , only got about 10% of what they say.
Again this are two great movies and i highly recommend you guys watching them if you already haven't.

I saw parts of the battleship one. Looked cool.I'm just not into naval,or Jap stuff. The guy from Belle and Blade plays it every year at the annual reenactment of the Battle of the Bulge.

For the YAMATO movie the Japanese built a 1:1 scale copy of the YAMATO from just above the waterline , they spent close to $640 million USD .

No just kidding , to my , the best Japanese movies are the old black and white Samurai ones , the Italians would later copy them , change them to take place in the old West and then name them Spaghetti Westerns. So honestly to me they are : 1-Yojimbo (1961) 2-Seven Samurai (1954) ( this movie would be copied and named The Magnificent Seven) 3-The Hidden Fortress (1958) 4-RAN (1985) 5-Kagemusha (1980)
