So, as unfortunate as the topic of this thread is... did you guys get any of your money back yet? (Whether through your credit card company or by other means.)

What kind of rifle did you order? maybe he couldnt find the parts to make it/sold out... Springfield mate. Its got nothing to do with parts being sold out. Its more not having a proper business plan, and process in place to build the things in the first place. if you read the entire thread, you'll see why My response was, well i want my money back. As its 4 months too late. My original posting date was August. Which he's agreed to do by the 29th Dec. So we'll see what happens next. I've spent extra money having other conversion done, by a trusted friend of mine. Which when finished. Will be better that what i would have got with MGW.

It's possible that with him home for Christmas break from school that he'll finally be in a position to finish up his back orders and get them sold. It appeared at one point that he was close to being doen with a large block of rifles. He's probably home for 10 days to 2 weeks.
I for one sure hope that will be the case.

I think that is probably the right course of action to take but like everyone here would like to see a final positive outcome although it seems increasingly unlikely. It's troubling of course. Good luck with it to all the folks who have ordered from him.

If I had an order with him and put into the bank/CC for refund I would tell him to go ahead and ship it and that I would cease the refudn rpocess once I physically receive the ordered item...thats if I still wanted it after so much terribleness.

This bad mouthing has to STOP, the man has some serious problems and he is working hard to iron them out. Sorry if your fast food attitude is not being satisfied! Other people have lives as well, so get over it! If you need an explaination ask for it from him, I did!

I have asked him for an explaination....multiple....multiple....multiple times. AND...I get less response from him than biguk gets. If he was/is "working/hard" to iron out his problems... I would have heard back, he would have responded to posts... he would be a airsoft building angel. But the fact of the matter is, he is not. So in my mind he really deserves the criticism...and much more. Don't get me wrong. I am sorry for whatever he is going through... but that only goes so far. After seeing that he contacted biguk... I have been holding out pressing forward on the legal route (believe it or not I really don't want to do this to him), thinking that he might just come through during the holidays... vacation from school etc. Of course I should know better at this point... as I still have not been contacted from him. Biguk, can you please PM me the police phone number you mentioned. I'll give them a ring and let you know how it goes. Thanks! ONE MORE NOTE. I have not received a email from him since July. BUT, he did have time to update his website last month letting people know he has a new ordering policy. How is that for insulting? moaurosgunworks.webs.com/apps/blog/

Dude........I know you think I instigated a witch hunt on the young man. You're wrong about that but lets put that aside for a moment. All he needed to do was explain what the heck is going on. He doesn't have my money so I have no ax to grind with him. I originally asked people to be patient. I had faith he was just having some issues and all would be well. I have always been encouraging and supportive of his work in PM and on the forums. After much time we put up an advisory about ordering from him. It was a grooup decision by the mods and we HATED to have to do it. If he is hurt, or his family has an issue people could better understand if he explained that. He hasn't I don't feel it is asking too much. Nor do I think people are being too harsh with him. You and Spitfire seem to know the inside skinny but hide behind vague postings about he has issues or people will owe him an apology. So please explain or stay out of it.

All,
As far as this board is concerned it is generally buyer beware and none of our business. However, this situation put the moderators in a dilemma because Tommy Gunner had used WW2AA to market his guns (which was encouraged sort of) but then did not deliver to some members who purchased the product. Many attempts were made to settle the issue through communications but there has been no reply from TG.
Therefore, in order to protect WW2AA members it was decided to issue a warning post. Personal problems are of no concern to the buyer but as noted if he communicated with the buyer maybe there would be a better understanding. Right now the buyers and this board are completely in the dark. Until communications are re-established to the satisfaction of members and moderators we have no choice but retain a "Do not buy warning" for MGW

so far no info from him, but i heard from some guys on the norwegian forum that they also recieved their rifles in march/april (a year after ordering them) so if it so, then its standard procedure of him going quiet, then sending them somewhere around now.
This is from the guys that got their enfields (the pictures he shows of the 5 englismen with moustaches)

O.k. everyone... BIG UPDATE! I got a phone call today, form Jeremiah. In fact, I JUST got off the phone with him now. I know, I could hardly believe it myself! So here is how everything went down. I did some more sleuthing around and found some additional info about him, where he is from etc and long story short reached out by email to someone else who knows him who in turn forwarded my info and email over to him... from which I received a phone call from Jeremiah a few hours later. The first thing he did when he called was apologize and let me know how unacceptable it was that he had not been in contact with myself, and everyone else, etc etc. From what I understand talking to him, he just really got overwhelmed with school and all the orders... and could not do both at the same time. And of course like some of us know... the longer you ignore something the harder it can be to man up and face it. Which seems to be the case. He did say thank you for calling him out on it and forcing him to get back in touch. SO NOW THE GOOD PART. According to him, EVERYONES GUN IS DONE. Not only is the gun, it is boxed up with the address on it and ready to ship out. He said he will be shipping out everyones rifle this week. When he ships mine I will be getting a tracking number with it, and he will be calling me and reading that number to me over the phone. Apparently they have all been done for a while now, again going back to him just being to swamped, overloaded and the situation having got so bad that it has been tough to face it. He said to let everyone know that he does plan on making a public apology on the forum later on (I forget when he said he would actually do it though...sorry about that). AND...... ready for this? For those of you who have ordered rifles from him. If you would like to talk with him on the phone he told me that I can give you his phone number. If you are one of the buyers just send me a PM and I will get it over to you. All he asked is that you send him a text message first with your name and phone number and that it is regarding the airsoft purchase in the text, and he will then call you back. Reason being he may be in class at the time you call etc... as he is a busy full time student. So there you have it. If it is all true (which we will find out in the VERY near future... me especially only being one state away from him).... I would say I am pretty optimistic. Has it been to long a wait and a horrible ordeal to go through? Absolutely. Will I still be happy to get the rifle? Sure will be. He seems like a nice kid and very sorry, I busted his balls for a bit (which of course is much deserved) but in the end I was just happy to hear from him and know he is facing up to the situation. If anyone has any questions about the conversation let me know.. I might have left out a few things being the call lasted 20min. Although I think what wrote pretty much covers it. Cheers, misfit

That's really great to hear. We all knew he never intended any sort of shenanigans, and realize that sometimes business ventures take on a life of their own. Regardless, communication is still very necessary. People are usually understanding, so long as they see an effort from the other end. My recommendation to anyone starting out a gun building business is to offer them for sale as they are completed. That way it's always at your pace, and you never "fall behind".
