I know I am not a MOD so feel free to delete this. I agree with you 100% Shady, if your just starting out with custom building its best to build the rifle and then sell it after. Once you are able to get them out fast you can start doing it differently. Also good communication is the key, even if it hurts.
I am experiencing the same thing TJ has been the last few months and could very well be in his situation if I was a full time college student, as I can barely manage as a high schooler. But anyways, I hope Tommygunner was telling the truth and you'll get your rifles soon.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the comments and support.
It is good news indeed and I to hope it works out for everyone involved.
Communication really is key I agree. I told him the same thing about people mostly being understanding and that he just needs to stay on it.
As far as him telling the truth about all of this and us getting our rifles soon goes...
He called me back today letting me know that my rifle has been shipped out. He was again, very polite on the phone just as before... AND, he gave me a tracking number.... which when checked says that the package being received and sent off has been confirmed. So it looks like it will be here this weekend! ;D
Will keep you posted when it gets here. I'm pretty stoked.

On his website it says no orders will be taken until August so he can pre build the rifles. Looks like he has learned a valuable lesson.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let all of you know that my rifle DID come by mail yesterday! I was pretty happy to see a big package brought to my door.. almost like X-mas.. if X-mas came a year late. Anyways, so far I am pretty happy with it and everything looks pretty good. Thanks again to everyone for the help and support, its good to know that their is some positive resolve to everything that happened. I took some pics and will try to post them up with a review in the next few days. Until then here is one to tide you over. Cheers! -misfit

I am so happy to see this conclusion I hope that everyone has the same happy conclusion to this ordeal. As stated before all of the Mods really liked TG and we wanted nothing but a happy ending to this mess.

Hey nice looking rifle! I am sure you'll get a lot of nice comments when you bring it out to a skirmish. I hope TJ will come through with everyone else too.

I'm glad things finally got resolved.
I would just like to say that if you are having doubts about a situation like this, and you have SEVERAL members assuring that the seller is a good, respectable guy...then instead of threatening and turning into an angry mob out for blood, and accusing the people backing up his reliability (ie myself and m5a1 who know him personally), listen to the community members, and keep your cool. I understand after waiting a long long time for an expensive order from a complete stranger is horrifying. But as the saying goes, hate to say I told you so...
Id like to compare for thought. Say 2ndbat has a large order going out of M1 garands and he gets backtracked or falls ill (god forbid) or whatever and puts off the order for several months. Would he get the same hassle as TG did? I would think no, because many people have bought from him (including myself) that have received the purchases and know he's a respectable guy. I can tell you if it took 2ndbat 8 extra months to make my rifle, I don't think Id be too worried since hes so highly reccomended from the community and a large portion personally know him.
In contrast theres alot of people who received the purchase from TG too, alot of them shipped internationally. So what caused this community uproar against him? Even when many members assured things will smooth out. I guess I just have to be put in the situation to understand :/

spitfire740, I understand what you are saying and respect you wanting to stand up for your friend. I also know what you mean by people freaking out and such and how sometimes people should just cool off. I myself am very laid back usually.
However, I do have some things to say on this subject.
Jeremiah said to me, on the phone this month, that he acted completely irresponsible, should not have done what he did, said it was unacceptable, apologized a great deal and not only understood why everyone was upset but also agreed that he deserved it. He said all that before I even had a chance to really say anything to him about the subject which was the right thing to do and I am glad he did. You see, being a good person and being nice does go far... but it is not everything. And everyone has their limits. He put out many promises and then ducked out on everyone without updating or explaining much... and after taking there hard earned money. There really is no excuse for that.
I am sure if 2bat fell ill, he would find a way to make things right and more prompt then Jerimiah did. From what I have seen he is a upstanding airsoft community member... and would not put his customers through what Jerimiah did to his. (at least I hope lol j/k)
Also, please do remember. Although all this turned out fine and dandy... it ended up that way because I DID work hard at tracking him down and keeping on top of it... and had to contact the guys parents business to have him get in touch.. I mean really... that sucked for me having to go that far not to mention the thought of having to drag someone to court. If I had not, who knows if things would have worked out for everyone or how much longer the finished rifles would have sat their before he decided to send them out...if ever. etc. The point is, he was wrong in what he did.
I am grateful that he is back on the right track and wish him the best. But if you know him so well, call him up and find out for yourself how much he admits to having screwed up then decided for yourself if you really want to defend his actions.
Yes, he has done order before our orders. But ours are also not the first that there has been problems with... even internationally.
I am not one to slander someone, and I hate having to speak ill on a subject. But a fact is a fact and this is all true. All that being said, he seems like a nice and humble kid who just got a little lost and had a hard time facing up to mistakes. I hope he learns from the experience and it benefits others in the future.
Thanks.

people wouldn't give 2nd batt any hassle because he would do the responsible thing and keep in touch with his paying customers to let them know what the deal is.
just because a package shows up a year later out of the blue doesn't make things right.

Hello Everyone
I have returned to make a formal apology to the people who have purchased from me as well as to the members on these boards.
I have not read a single thing that has been said about me on these boards or in pms sent to me. I intend to keep it that way. Whatever was said is well warranted and within the rights of those who said them and I respect that.
I also will not make any excuses for not having shipped the rifles sooner. Unforeseen circumstances as well as a lack of self discipline played heavily into the completion time for each gun. As for a lack of communication to my customers I take full responsibility for that as well.
I truly have good intentions it is just that life become overwhelming after I switched majors and my parents filed for divorce. I let the situation spin out of control when it could easily have been fixed by simple communication with each customer.
Because of this situation I have re-designed how I conduct business entirely. All guns are now pre built and can be shipped the same day an order is placed. I have also hired a dedicated person to monitor e-mails so responses to them can be sent out very quickly.
Again I am very sorry for all of this and I hope to become an active member of these forums once more……that is if you will all have me.

Now that this adventure has been resolved, and measures have been taken to assure it never happends again, I will ring in with something I have wanted to say for a long time. For a few years now I have not posted much, or if at all on this forum. I have read a lot of posts, answered a lot of PM's and remained in the shadows. I too had personal issues regarding finances, my son, a divorce, and losing a fiance. Life is a shiot storm people, most of our older members know that.
What disappointed me about this forum is the slandering, name calling, and outright childish behavior of some of the members. Members who purchased items from Jer deserve their opininon about their transaction and most that felt "wronged" were respecitible and kept their complaints civil. The mud slinging really came from guys who had no dog in the fight. People that just wanted to pile on for whatever reason. Did Jer screw up...yes he did. Did he apologize? Yes. Has anyone on this forum ever NOT made a mistake? I highly doubt it.
I remained quiet about this for some time because those who knew Jer that did reply were accused if sticking up for him cause there was a friendship involved. I also had no dog in this fight so does my opinion really matter? I spoke with Jer the whole time this "adventure" took place and his intentions were never dishonorable. He said many times how bad he felt and how he promised to make things right. I simply told him, "don't tell me what you're going to do, simply do it".
He manned up, rejoined the forum and has taken steps to provide quality custom airsoft guns for the members here. Those here who don't like that can simply not purchase from Jer. But don't post about how his guns are "Cushman rejects", or "hack jobs". I have seen his work, prototypes are "rough" in any industry, but the finished product is what matters. The guys that have bought his guns love em, the guys that have not are the ones who cast the insults strictly based on photos or perhaps envy?
With that I ask one of the mods to remove the "Don't buy from Jeremiah" sticky. I'm a mod and can do it but do not want my actions to be misinterpreted as "favoring a friend".
~ Jeff
