Sorry about that guys, these past two weeks have been hell, big things happening with the divorce so my life has been filled with that.
Avalorian your rifles got shipped back to me becuase either US or Spains customs needed an invoice for taxing purposes or something, I really have no idea what they were talking about but I have an invoice printed up and put in the box.
Miko your rifle is fixed and shoots great (best one I have ever built) and I will text you information on the payment via western union.
Due to the issues going on the 2009 buyers might be the very last to ever get a gun I build. Pitty as this next batch is amazing!

Nice words MGW, but after another 14 days, no news of my rifles with or with out the invoice.
You told me you were sending the items by UPS and Insuranced, nothing send by UPS takes 15 days.
And by the way, still no answer to the mails.

Hello, sorry for the late news. got my rifle, but as ive notified mgw, there are still some problems with the loading of the spring Me and my other friends have come to a solution that i need to probably upgrade the loading internals to steel instead of the plastic tube where the spring is since after loading a few times, it the catcher starts slipping and i have to unscrew the whole gun. But overall its a mighty fine piece and i love the feeling of it. Nice wood work, finishing and look. Ill post some pics when i have the gun working, and in full uniform

Is not normal 1 month for the rifles to arribe, even if they come by ship.
I continue sending mails to MGW, and as usual, no answer.

Wow I thought Jeremey finally settled up with everyone. Yee gads!!!!! That's terrible. I hate it when I even go two weeks over schedule with a build and fret daily about what I have due for delivery. Builds always take longer than my overly optimistic mind suggests they should but it's a case of days or weeks not months and is usually the result of work distractions or supplier issues.

Not to excuse Jeremiah, but I've been many months overdue on my builds too, although I have managed to stay in contact with the buyer and keep things good.

I think communications is the key but truthfully when folks shell out their hard earned money they have a right to expect to get what they paid for in a reasonable period of time. With that said it's important to remember that the builder is either going to have to have thousands tied up in inventory at any given time in order to have a group of weapons either completed or well into production or operate off of the buyer investment capital in order to complete the custom builds. When that is the case there will be a significant gap between order and completion.
It should be very clear from thiese threads and discussions that custom home work shops are a catch as catch can enterprise and I would encourage any prospective buyer to check out throughly who you're buying from, what their track record has been and what they realistically expect their turnaround time will be. I would further suggest that custom builders do everything they can to dignify their time estimates and stay in touch with cutsomers to keep them informed on how things are progressing.
These home enterprises are not commercial profit centers in a conventional sense. The returns are so meager as to be laughable. I suspect everyone including Jeremy offered up their services mostly to support the hobby and less focused on financial gain. only to discover that the expense and time requirements exceeded what they realized.
My intent throughout has been to be put out of business by affordable high quality offerings from major manufacturers who can provide quality choices at low cost. So far the results have been disappointing as the main required weapons have still not materialized. Without Garands, Springfields, Kar98s, SMLEs, Mosin Nagants, BARs and Carbines that actually work and are affordable it's hard to get momentum for WW2 airsoft.
Over the last several years we have seen more progress than in the previous 10 years so hopefully this will all change. In the interim these home enterprises and your own personal efforts are probably the best bet but come with all the delays, hassles and costs. Risk in a community of caring people should not be a factor but unfortunately is.
Thanks to dropped balls by guys like MGW and Killbucket I sell something and have a percentage of folks who inquire daily about their purchases and while it makes me crazy it is unfortunately understandable. Thanks go out to all my customers but especially the patient trusting ones!
